Good Morning. It's Tuesday 11th April, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

    Leeds must pay JKA £24.5m

Leeds have been ordered to pay Jean-Kevin Augustin almost £25m in compensation by FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber, after being found found guilty of breaching the players contract.

The former French U21 International, initially joined Leeds on loan during the closing stages of the 2020 January transfer window, on the proviso the deal would be made permanent should they win promotion, but three games in, his Elland Road career would come to an abrupt end, with only 48 minutes on the clock.

Augustin arrived at LS11, unfit, out of shape and low on confidence - not the ideal formula for a club eyeing automatic promotion, yet they still went ahead with the deal knowing he had virtually not kicked a ball for months. Following his release that Summer, Augustin spent two seasons at Nantes, before signing for Swiss outfit Basel last Summer.

Even though Augustin has been earning good money since leaving Leeds, FIFA are making them pay every penny of his five year £90,000 a week contract, plus legal expenses. Add the £15.5m settlement Leeds had to pay RB Leipzig, and the absurdity of the situation magnifies. Only at Leeds!!!

Does Rutter need to go out on loan

It's fair to say that Georginio Rutter's introduction to the Premier League has not gone to plan thus far. The versatile forward (as I'm not sure what position he plays) joined Leeds half way through the January transfer window in a deal, potentially worth £35m, yet early signs indicate they may have made another catastrophic mistake!

He's clocked up 350 minutes of game time in all competitions (211 in the league), and has one of the worst stats in the entire squad. Data from 'WhoScored' place him in 24th position with a rating of just 6.23. Only Gelhardt, Forshaw, Klich and Mateo Joseph are behind him. It's easy to say that he is a player for the future, but who shells out £35m on potential. He turns 21 next week, yet is nowhere near the standard of Summerville or Gnonto.

I noticed that Gracia gave him a run around when we were losing to Arsenal and Crystal Palace, but kept him benched when we were winning against Wolves and Forest. Does he have a part to play at Leeds next season, or does he need to go out on loan?

Does Greenwood have a future at ER

Sam Greenwood has slipped down the pecking order since Javi Gracia took the ER hot seat, amassing just 14 minutes of game time since the Spaniard took the reigns, nine games ago. Signed from Arsenal in the Summer of 2020 for £1.5m, Greenwood has enjoyed his time at Leeds. He was at the forefront of the Academy, before being promoted to the first team squad.

Like so many, making that step up from Academy to first team has not been easy for the former Gooner, and at 21, wants to be playing first team football. Does he have a future at Leeds, should he be sent out on loan next season or be part of the Summer cull?

The visceral hatred of Georginio Rutter on here by some is boring and wrong. The kid had the 3rd best running and dribbling numbers in Europe behind Messi and Mbappe, so obviously shyt. He led the most promising charts 2 seasons on the bounce. He was playing regular in the top German league against Dortmund, Bayern etc, so obviously seen as a huge prospect. My view is that he should have been given more of a chance especially ahead of Bamford. I think we will all see a star player next season or sooner if he gets the nod

Morning all. Had a ball as always and many thanks for Wakey and Chesh for putting up with me. As for the football club and the running of it, Im fed up making my feelings known. Even wearing three or four pairs of rose tinted glasses it must be obvious where this whole thing is in real danger of ending. Pissing fortunes away regularly and all being put on the never never. Will sound familiar to some of us older fans

Now clubs will be lining up for Rads fire sale knowing they can get players on the cheap. Rads will have to surely take the hit for fat kevs farce. No way will the 49ers stump up the full amount for a championship outfit. Also who says they will not sell their shares to the A rabs and then rads is fooked. He would be forced to accept a lower offer. He tried to sell Harrison just to cover fat kevs transfer fees. Rads is skint simple as that.

The Big Kev fiasco is yet another reason to have a laugh at Leeds Utd and if we end up having to pay him up in full it makes a mockery of football administration of the world governing body. The facts are clear we should never have even looked at him.

But lets look at some facts here. He was on loan from Leipzig at Monaco he played for them 10 times without scoring so why did we go after him? He came to Leeds and was a shadow of the player we thought we were getting and he came in 3 times without scoring. He then went to Nantes on a free transfer and played 10 times without scoring. He was so shyt that he was sent to the reserves never to see the first team again. He played 4 times for the kids without scoring. He then went to Basel in the Swiss league and last season played for them 5 times scoring once. This season Basel have played 27 games but JKA has only been picked 7 times scoring twice. 3 goals in 5 fooking years. Hes a broken footballer

Boro are probably still laughing at us taking Orta. So once again we are a laughing stock. Him and dan james have cost 65 million. Wiping out any profit from raph.

Liverpool almost ended up with there own Big Kev problem in Arthur Mello. Big money Brazilian from Barcelona went to Juventus for £72m but after a season his fitness went backwards so he was sent to the U21s to train. Liverpool took him on a season loan paying £5m loan fee with a buy option for £35m. Melli has played only twice for Liverpool in cup games and trains with the reserves. A crock but at least Liverpool didn’t agree to buy him they accepted an option to buy which they are not going to do

Orta is leaving some legacy at Leeds, some absolute failures, Rutters diving on Sat and performances leave me to think he's another JKA who just doesn't get Leeds United

Just for the record we didn't get relegated on Sunday as some seem to think.

However it is a fact that the three PL teams who at the end of the season end up in the Championship will have to cut their cloth accordingly. That will mean selling a few good players and probably a couple of hot prospects as well to balance the books. That said we will have relegation clauses and no bonuses to pay so we should be better prepared than say an Everton or Leicester you would have thought.

It's sport and in this case football so you come up and sometimes you go down, there really is no need to get so upset about it.

Morning all by the way <ok>

I said at the time, the fee we paid is not the kids fault and I hope the fans give him time. It was obvious they wouldn’t, but hey.

Most of the Not606ers dribble, but lets not get into that.

So what he can dribble, when the rest of his game, is absolute crud!

    Dear Deidre says;

    Do more household chores
    Cook her a nice meal
Run her a nice bubble bath

Deidre is a women and hasn't gone south since the 70's with zero intention of ever doing so again by the way <ok>

Well now I'm totally relaxed about the situation.

Might be something to do with the 6/1 that was available last week or maybe not <whistle>
