Thankfully you are in the minority. When Rosie took over we where 1 point away from the drop zone. With an horrendous defence. We are obviously work in progress. But hey we all have different views don't we? I'll enjoy the victory.

We have been treated recently with GY and Scunthorpe going down. Hopefully replaced by Scarborough.

He’s going to be a very good player. But we need players that are good now.

I haven’t seen any improvement in him over Sinik, who is our player.

He needs a regular application of the Sir Alex Ferguson hairdryer and maybe he will amount to something

I understand your point of view, but why are your expectations so high?

We have most of our attacking players out injured (Rosie just confirmed NONE will be fit for Saturday), we have half a league one team and players just coming back from or carrying injuries.

Teams like Millwall, Luton etc were teams that in the past we would have been confident we would beat. But now, given the last few seasons, that’s not the case anymore. They have, for the time being, jumped ahead of us in terms of progress and are no longer considered weaker sides in the division, neither can we claim to be one of the better ones. I couldn’t think of a team that would see us in the fixture list at the start of the season and not think “3 points”.

We are a project in motion. We cleared some deadwood last season, we will do the same this season. We have the spine of a good team, we’re only four or five signings away from being a top six side for me.

Savile today was class for them. If he wasn’t 29 and had the same last name as the most evil sex predator this country has ever known, I’d want him alongside Seri.

So our win doesn’t really count because our forwards scored a goal and our keeper made some saves? Blimey, it’s more complicated than I realised…..

    Millwall were po
or at playing the passing game until we decided to defend deep. Prior to that is was high ball to big guys to lay it off , typical Rowett, Honeyman did absolutely nothing but they played him out of position . They are strong and that’s all , wouldn’t mind Burke tho he’s quick and strong

It was a great win against a well organised team who were on a completely different physical level. City rode their luck but backed that up with some superhuman defensive efforts. The half time subs changed the game and added some pace and much needed guile to the attack whilst putting the brakes on their attacks down the right.
I've given Ebiowei the benefit of the doubt so far but his head was down from the start and he was a passenger throughout the first half. Sadly, Greaves was similarly afflicted and seemed to be running through treacle.
Some great last ditch defending across the whole backline, another excellent performance from Darlow and lively contributions from Traore, Slater, Coyle, Tufan, Seri and Longman. Millwall were generally the better team but determination and hard work won the day. Well done City.

He is still only a young lad, he doesn’t seem the arrogant type but it doesn’t look like he’s had enough experience at this level to play with the swagger he does. Oli Burke, who himself is only 25 and played very well against us today, was the exact same. Hyped up to hell and won a move to RB Leipzig, but as a youngster just didn’t deliver. Had to go on loan several times to some different countries before he found any consistency. Another I’d go for next season if Werder Bremen would part with him fairly.

It's gotta work both ways. If we perform and don't win it's ****. If we only play so-so and come up with the only bit of class to win it's still ****.

I imagine they’re looking forward to trips to Peterborough Sports, Banbury United and (potentially) South Shields.

Forgot , credit to Elder he is a truly honest pro always up for it , adds pace and is willing to head a ball , not the greatest feet but good cover .
I’d Ebiowei is not willing to tackle at 19 when he should be scared of nothing then he’s got a problem . He walks at half paces he rarely stretches his legs to make a run or chase , so age is no excuse - he’s got talent but needs the rest - and to head a ball

Rosenior speaking on Humberside after the game wasn't happy with the effort from the players in the 1st half. From my view in the west stand he wasn't happy with Greaves' performance levels and I wasn't surprised he was shepherds' crooked at half-time. I get the feeling Greaves isn't happy at City at the moment and other Championship teams will be alerted to this fact. I can see him being out the door in the transfer window.

The question is will BBC Humberside continue to provide live match commentary of Scunnie? They could choose to cover North Ferriby instead.

Those performances can happen at this stage of the season though can't they?

    Remember Brizzle away last season.

Rosie at least shook it up before it became that today.

Ollie Burke must be the least Rosenior player in world football. An athletic giant lunk with no football nous.

Well done for Rosie for changing things and ever bigger of a well done for his post match comments! I really hope he sticks by them.

3pts that effectively means we are safe. If we are to get anywhere close to the heights Rosie was talking about post match then we need some big changes and Rosie admitted as much.
