LJ league 1, no idea where as don't need how strong it is this year.

AN probably a bit higher but we wouldn't have seen the moments of brilliance we have this season as I think he would have found a way to grind out results most weeks but wouldn't have allowed the flare!

    So prefer TM!

If LJ were here, we certainly would not be "learning at the coalface."

I like LJ. As a person I irked him. He is not cut out to be a manager, seemingly proving that everywhere he goes. We’d be in league 1 probably pushing fir play offs season on season. Falling at the last hurdle each time!

Neil I think we’d be in a similar position. As said above, I don’t think he’d have favourited the flair we’ve seen and goals like the Teading one, Huddersfield and the one at the weekend would never have happened. I also think he might have thrown his toys out in January when we ended up with no striker!!

I still don't get why people say that about LJ. He did very well at Bristol City keeping them comfortably in the Championship. We are where we are in part to LJ AND AN.

If LJ were still here we would be 10 points above burnley.

If AN were here we would all have fallen asleep long ago.

LJ, we’d be fighting it out with Plymouth, Sheff Wed and Ipswich for automatic promotion.

AN, we’d be comfortably in a playoff spot. He deserted us but he was a very good manager and knew what was needed to get results.

It’s a hard one to answer as Neil would have wanted to sign 28+ year olds with limited shelf life. We’d be in a good position but financially much worse off.

I liked LJ so was a bit gutted it didn’t work for him, think if he’d been here in the Championship he would t have been fired but our desperation to get out of League One top trumped anything else. Luckily it worked!

With Johnson we'd be in League One having the same season again. Too arrogant to acknowledge or rectify the flaws in his style of play unfortunately.

With Neil we'd be similar to where we are now, albeit not as flamboyant gonig forward as we have been.

AN proven he is a good manager. Think we would be higher in the league but less attractive football.

That said there is literally no way he would have accepted the Jan window and would have tendered his resignation anyway.

Can't stand the bloke after the way he left but looks like it has took time and hard work but seems like they are in the up. I assume thanks to him.

Still rather have TM as I think he fits more with the way the club want to do things and will give more exciting moments!

I see Neil as a manager and TM as a head coach.

Because of that TM is ultimately a better fit for the clubs strategy but part of me would have liked to have seen how far Neil could have taken us with his approach.

Not sure we would be higher up the league if he quits when he doesnt get what he wants. The fella doesnt seem to want to coach, just wants an easy life with players others have coached before him. Wouldnt have had a clue how to cope with our injuries. Imagine him working out what to do without Evans, Pritchard, Stewart or Gooch for long periods. He would have been miles out of his depth.

It think he called it early thought. Said we needed more depth and not more young players with inexperience. He was correct with that statement as we have went from top 6 to midtable due to it.

Maybe. But we'd have needed a very big squad to cope easily with the blizzard of injuries we've had.

Neil is what he is right now IMO; a decent mid table championship manager. Almost all his career in England has been spent there. I'm not sure he'll ever be much more than that, and if the same might be said of TM, then at least he is happy to progress young players with little regard for his own standing.

Not convinced Neil would have us better placed than Mowbray - he seemed at constant odds with the club over it's recruitment strategy, so imagine we would not have seen much of the Michut, Ba, Bennette, Hume and Alese as he'd prefer the tired and trusted players from last season. Wright would probably have played a lot of games, O9 partnering Evans in midfield etc

He wouldn't have got us out of L1, so the conversation about his Championship credentials is a moot point
