me being a bore ?? you were the one that interfered , just why did you interfere in the first place ?

why did you bother to interfere in the first place in something that had absolutly nothing to do with you in the first place , cant you honestly see how ignorant and rude it to ask a fellow member to post his future topics in capital letters hence my blunt reply back to the member in question -

if you had minded your own buisness none of this pathetic garbage would of followed -

the moral of the story ---- mind your own buisness in things that dont concern you ----

Off topic. Apologies to the forum. This is a private discussion between myself and Marital artist, which unfortunately, is being aired in public. Please skip this post unless you have a morbid interest!

You want to keep this going eh?
And you want to keep it going in public do you?
You want to do this to your own thread at the expense of every other reader, selfishly arguing your personal disagreement without regard or respect for the other members of this forum?

If you have the intelligence to match your ego, you can avoid this continuation by using the Personal Message facility. But so far, you have persisted in keeping this public. So, I will respond publicly for the last time…

You keep asking the same questions without reading the answers, which are already on public display.
You persist in patronizing other members
of this forum.
You are also telling others what is or is not their business, in spite of your own behaviour which directly contradicts your particular moralising stance. - Publicly!
Is it your intention to be as disruptive as possible?

I have done my best but will allow for the possibility that you find difficulty reading my words, some of which you've even quoted.

I have told you exactly why I became involved. If you want to send me a PM*, please tell me which of my statements did you not understand. I believe they are crystal clear and properly punctuated; but although I see that they were lost on you, I see no point in telling you publicly again, and again and again why I became involved. For guidance, I refer you to my earlier comment in this thread. (If you do not understand this final public answer, please respond with a PM - if you feel the need - since I will not be returning to this thread).

However, I
will repeat this: I neither seek nor need your patronization or permission to contribute to any thread I choose, so long as it complies with the requirements of this forum.

Now, I am going to offer you a cease-fire:
You persist in flogging your lost-horse, whilst I see that I am flogging a completely dead-horse!
For this reason, I'm sure even you will be pleased to know that I have no intention of continuing this futile, boring, off-topic, non-debate; which is unfair for those who are trying to follow the thread you started.
I am politely asking that if you have more things which you feel are so important to address to me personally, please visit http://www.not606.com/member.php/1006501-cosicave and send me a *Private Message, and I will get back to you if you wish.

- - 0 - -

I hereby apologise to the forum and its long-suffering moderators, and for my part in this very unfortunate side-track.

yay, look what I've come back to find! Maybe closing the thread for a while will end this "getting the last word" competition. If you really want to have this discussion please use the PM system, its for personal matters of disagreement

Closed till you've all had a breather.

lets finish this farce once and for all then --
another member rudely and ignorantly asked me to post my future topics in capital letters because he said he had trouble in understanding them , i took exception to this as it makes not one jot of difference whether a post is in capital letters or not for the understanding of that post - and i told him so in a slightly blunt manner as i thought he was rude in the first place asking me -

you then decided to interfere in something that had absolutely nothing to do with you and in a very condescending way took sides and tried to advise me how i should talk to people on here , what exactly has it got with you in the first place how i talk to people on here that i think are being rude to me -

as i said if you had minded your own buisness in the first place like everybody else on the forum minds there"s none of this nonesense would have happened -

just to make it crystal clear for you in the future , i dont need or want your advice on how i should talk to other people on the forum especially if i think they are being rude to me in the first place - i treat people exactly as they treat me on here , they treat me with respect and they get it back -

you are welcome to talk F1 with me , but i dont need or want your advice on how i handle my little spats that we all have from time to time on chat forums with other people - i dont do it to you so please show the same respect -

are we all crystal clear on our future relationship on here ---

It's a shame this thread has degenerated to this, because I thought it was an interesting topic. I also find it quite spooky that Brundle and Button's names begin with the same letter. That letter is the letter B. I would be interested to see if anyone else found this fact interesting too.

What are the chances eh?

Well 1 in 26 in thoery, but stastically probably less when you count the letters that are less likely to be the first letter of a surname.

As for interesting, i'd hope most would have something more exciting in their lives to think about, then again people do stand at the end of platforms and check train numbers.........

Yes.
<laugh>
Wasn't it spooky when Brundle and Blundell were teamed up again in Sports Cars recently? Just imagine listening to a Japanese commentary…

Spookier still, they both share the first three letters of their forenames with Martians; and have both been involved in commentary (just as has the real Martian called Legard).

where's the statistician amongst us?

What is the percentage of 'english' surnames spread across the alphabet?

Then when we've had enough we can move onto the other countries.

Something to keep us busy through the long winter.

Yearh, am getting bored of being kept busy in teh winter only to end up with babies in the autumn!

Will suggest the statistical challenge to the wife, then I can sneak off down the pub whilst she sorts it out :)

They teamed up in 91 at Brabham and 93 at Ligier as well. Think they were know as the Brundell twins :)

Yes indeed.
(I originally included a reference to twins but edited it out so as to emphasise the Japanese audience's difficulty - which I find hilarious).

We could do with Blundell doing the pit information, and handing back to Brundle (and vice-verse).
Then let the Japs loose.

It's hard to get polls when the Red Bull is so quick Lewis only got one because the team concentrated on qualifying that weekend and it didn't get him anywhere in the race. Jenson is no better or worse at qualifying than any other driver on the grid, if he have had the Red Bull this season he would have scored just as many polls as Seb has done.

Button scored polls for Honda as well as for brawn so to say it is a flaw in his all round driving ability is complete nonsense.

How would you tell? It could be that Mclaren is actually the better car or they could be even? Who knows

Because Button Lewis and Alonso just aren't that slow so it speaks for itself.
