Not Sinnis job, but he could of closed down the Forest guy for their goal, but sort of wafts past him. Don't know what he thought he was doing.
I know the Bielsa days are history and yes it was probably time to go and he was his own worse enemy but you can’t help wonder where we’d have got to under him if Bamford could have put a few more of his clear cut chances away and our CBs had been as good in real life as they should have been on paper (Llorente Koch). Alternatively where we would have been today if we hadn’t employed Jesse or we’d have dumped him out prior to the World Cup. Jesse has been responsible for a huge backward step, now we have someone who knows how to coach and read a game there seems to be a ray of hope We’re slowly getting there under Gracia, he’s making some very bold decisions regarding team selection and substitutions. We couldn’t have four more influential players affected by injury than Adams, Wober, Gnonto and Rodrigo and the pressure for them all must be immense. Did we ever win a game under Jesse after going behind? Great win yesterday, dominated the game, plenty of possession and shots, we’re moving in the right direction.
Feel much better for the win but I’d be really happy if we could get some daylight (more than three points gap) over 3rd bottom.
Sort of fed up with the whole movement thing. That's a basic requirement of any footballer in the pl and ability to bring others into play. If he didn't do even that he would simply be a statue surely. As a goalscorer he's hopeless. Hopefully when Ortas heading off in the summer he brings Bamford with him to his new club, Raith rovers or whoever
Yes. 2 down at Wolves last season. Won 2-3. Wolves at home this season. Won 2-1. 1-3 down to Bournemouth at home this season. Won 4-3.
You should be thankful to paddy Rich. He was crocked for most of bielsa’s time last season, so his clear cut misses didn’t really impact on Bielsa. The sitters he missed this season however, combined with many more of those centre back fck ups you mentioned cost us enough points to help get rid of Jesse. So he did us a service and helped ease your blood pressure
Me too, a lot will depend on the Palace result. Can’t see them coming to play, that’s not Woys style. We’ll have to find a way through likely 2 banks of 4. Won’t be easy and probably not pretty to watch. Really thought Roca was immense yesterday, yes he has a mistake in him ( don’t they all) but like his tenacity and he can pick a pass. Thought Jack and Sini did great, and better performances from Pascal/Firpo and Aaronson, than of late. I’d have substituted Ayling after the Forest opener, but Javi is impressing with his nous and ability to see what’s needed in each game. He won’t get it right every time, but I have for more confidence in him, than Jesse.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to see it. Will download the 30 minute highlights from sky when I get home from work today.
Roca, looked good at first and then the yank plank kept bringing him off and it killed him. El thinko is letting him play and is giving the whole team new confidence. What has happened to Ayling though is a mystery but then again i never really rated him.
