I'd take Brownhill off their hands if they are looking to offload a few and bring in new players in the summer

I thought Michut showed a great maturity with his performance when he came on - blocked the passing lanes impressively, you can tell he's learning every game

When you think about the players we are missing its such an exciting time to be a sunderland fan. finish the season well and nail the summer window and next season will be fun

Good interview from Mowbray too, highlighting recruitment needs to focus on strikers

Sky saying at the end it was a backs to the wall performance but I must've been watching a different game. Yes we competed but Burnley were hardly tearing us apart time and again

Thought it was too good to be true . I was going to post ( before it turns out Kompany was complimentary) that I hoped they wouldn’t whinge that we’d parked the bus , because that was obviously not the case . Nor did we just go out to spoil . Pundits just have to find something to put us down .

I have to say that Burnley looking threatening going forward but I thought we defended extremely well both in defense and midfield considering we had 8 players who could be counted as first team players out injured

I like him. I think the only scupper for Burnley keeping him would be the transfer ban. If that wasn't in place, I think he would have stayed and chanced his arm..I'm not so sure now.

O9 takes a smack sufficient to bloody his nose but carries on and does his job and 1) makes us so proud 2) embarrasses all the players who take a pinky finger tip slightly catching them and crash to ground half dead . Next time a commentator sees a no 2, it would be nice if they commented that they should take Lukescexample
