    Trying not to be disappointed because as I said we won. Just felt it could have been a few more.
    Latvia only threatened as a result of our sloppiness and they weren't that clever at the back either.
    Anyway, I shall have a strong word with myself and enjoy the fact we won.

    The feelings about Stroud and Woolmer are mutual Taff. When I have more time I will expand on why Stroud has it in for Welsh clubs. It involves Somerton Park, an abandoned game and a wooden chair.

    So long as no-one from Swansea is building on their current run of wins on Saturday then I'll be happy!! :emoticon-0110-tongu

    Have to say, I watched far too much of the game last night with my hands over my eyes. It should have been far more comfortable (though credit to their keeper and defence for their graft) but some of our sloppiness was unforgivable at times. Roberts and Morrell in particular spring to mind as giving the ball away in relatively dangerous positions far too easily on occasions (though Roberts did ok overall).

    I swear if Dan James could cross a ball more accurately more often and learn to shoot with some composure he could be our next Gareth Bale but I guess this is why he's now struggling for game time even at Fulham.

    The group table has a very pleasing look about it I must say.... so, job done, bask to the "bread and butter" stuff now...

    Thanks again for the hospitality Taff & Co. Let battle commence on Saturday, I may just pop over in the morning (before the game) to see how your thread is going and to (hopefully) see how overconfident you all are, whilst praying for the (surely at some point) inevitable fall...
    Personally I just hope it's not another game I watch from behind my fingers!!!!!!

    Cymru Am Byth (oh and Blooooooooooooooobirds <cool>)

    <cheers>

    Managed to see last night's game, missed the Croatia game.

    First twenty I'm thinking it's like watching the Swans... all the possession but the other side having the best chances! Got the goal (great header) and came out second half on fire. Their keeper kept them in it to make it a nervy finish, especially as we faded as the half went on. Nico Williams should play as striker, always looking dangerous on the edge of the box!

    What was the point of putting Cooper on with 90 seconds left and Cabango with 10 seconds?! The ref added the time on for the subs anyway.

    From Cooper’s perspective - he’s got his cap: no one can ever take that away!

    But, I get your point <cheers>

    Fair enough. He could have given him 10 minutes at least, just to savour the occasion.
