It’s now Thursday and Conte is still manager, I thought he would have been gone by now?

Does this mean he’s staying until the end of the season?

Of course Levy makes mistakes. As do all leaders in every walk of life.
Nobody on here has ever suggested a better strategy than ENIC have adopted, other than spending dodgy money or some impossible optimisation that simply won't work.
There is only one force between us and glory and that is money.

So would I but there is simply no way of maximising the chances of that that we haven't already tried.

Alasdair Gold has added Sergio Conceicao to the pile, not least because he's reportedly set to leave Porto at the end of the season

It's bizarre. He obviously doesn't want to be here, the club obviously doesn't want him to be here, and after the tirade at the weekend, I doubt the players want him to be here. Unless someone upstairs genuinely believes we have a better chance of top 4 with him than without him (which is a highly risky belief to rely on), I see zero reason why he is still an employee of the club.

The only reason that makes a lick of sense is the whole Paratici situation

If we expect Paratici to be here in the summer, we pull the trigger and Paratici identifies the coach and works on transfer targets
If we don't expect Paratici to be here in the summer, then it leaves us in an awkward spot where Paratici potentially picks a manger he might not be working with

Good point. Although they could still get rid of Conte and put Mason in charge short term and then it buys time until they know what’s going on with Paratici.

Where will the club find out definitively about Paratici?

    End of April, IIRC

Although one of the prosecutors leaving the case after being caught on camera literally saying "I hate Juventus" might tilt things in Paratici's (and our) favour

I love it when all the sports "journalists" and a lot of reports keep saying, day after day, something to the effect of "and a decision on Conte's future is likely today". So of course one day they'll likely be right, and will be able to tell the world how ITK they are. But also don't forget that every day they've said it up to now they've been wrong.

I'm sure we had a transfer window when we were linked with over 100 players.
We signed one and he wasn't on the list! <laugh> You'd get better accuracy from astrology.

The sheer volume of players linked with Man Utd every summer is always hilarious, because apparently their squad is going to be like the lineup of AKB48

Michael Bridge claims that Conte isn't taking training today as he's still in Italy, instead Christian Stellini is doing the honours

Matt Law from the Telegraph mentioned that originally conte's contract situation was to finish this season and if we get top 4 ( which could still happen ) he would get a £15m extra payout if he signed his one year extension.

Due to his recent criticism of our players and board the Tottenham lawyers are researching if this is grounds for dismissal, if its not then Conte could argue if he was sacked now he would be missing out potentially on this 15m bonus payout if he wanted to stay on.

Bayern are allegedly considering replacing Nagelsmann with Tuchel.
They've been struggling badly this season and have dropped all the way to 2nd.

Nagelsmann was at one point a lot of people’s (mine included iirc) favourite to take over before Nuno did.

    Interesting development that.

Type of manager we could give a 4+ year contract too and let him work.
