It’s pretty disgusting that a football club can be purchased in this manner. Fair enough taking management fees and proceeds from share sales but it should be compulsory that the debt and any interest is in the purchasers name not the club. So on sale they use the proceeds to settle the debt balance or continue to pay it off under the original debt agreement. Good to know that there are owners out there worse than Ashley. The Glazers could probably argue that if they had left the money in the club the management would have only spent it on overpriced players anyway.
Zzzzzzz... ****ing international breaks are dogshit. Roll on next Sunday, roll on the beers and roll on turning these horrible set of entitled ****es over.
Apparently we're getting this guy from Man City in and we're also taking Man Utd's current Head of Youth Recruitment - David Harrison... And Southampton's Head of Youth Recruitment Dan Rice. Also brought in West Ham's Academy Recruitment Manager as our 'Southern Youth Scout' last week.
These appointments are just as big as, (if not even bigger than) the transfer market activity, in terms of our long term growth. Identifying, attracting and developing the best youth is a massive step from where we have been.
