I wouldn't call people's honest opinions, or honest guesses, shyte tbh ... that's what forums are for ..

... it shouldn't be a case of these are the 'facts' I'm posting so you lot are idiots.

What appears to be shyte are totally unsubstantiated claims that inevitably favour Donald and portray KLD as a daft kid who has infantile grudges and makes wild extravagant decisions based on some ridiculous slight. Thankfully claiming, a week ago, that Donald was heavily involved in the club, and becoming more involved, then seeing the club announce that he's been pushed further out proves he wasn't involved. The club didn't even need to make an announcement tbh, it was done to rub Donald's nose in it and further discredit him ... if that was actually needed.

Opinions do mean something mate. We can disagree with them, but they do mean something. They are how we feel about our club, and based on whatever we may know, or think. Largely I think we are a pretty intelligent bunch on here, and we certainly know our football. Often from different perspectives but it makes for a great bunch of opinions. They are worthwhile, always.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and on a forum is allowed to post that opinion , it is up to the individual to believe what is posted or not - people can make their own minds and comment as they see fit .

If anyone doesn't know Grumpy Old Man, on RTG, he's their 'go to' financial expert who carefully explains the the state of the club, the shares situation, the holding company, etc.

His comment on suggestions that this was some kind of rapid reaction from KLD to something Donald or Sartori said or did.

"This will have been implemented over the last couple of months."

So, not last Tuesday as was claimed. Sorry Bob, your claims that Donald was helping KLD, working on high profile projects and becoming more involved with the club just don't make a pick of sense. The only such suggestions have come from you and you alone. No other supporters, reporters or even Donald himself have claimed he's anything but a total irrelevance clinging on for the money.

But it's not opinion when on one thread you state "Ii PM'd few on here about it."" then on another thread "i PM'd one poster I trusted"

That's not knowing what you're doing

His breakdown of the end of year accounts are great. Puts things in a way that makes them easier to understand for people (like me) who haven't a scooby how those sort of things work.

That confirms what we all think . . . . he's got no involvement whatsoever, and when he says that he 'had a chat with Kyril and Juan' that probably means that they told him what they wanted and were going to do, or to make the tea or something similar :emoticon-0100-smile

    In a nutshell, he's trying to 'save face' . . . . as we all would, I suppose :emoticon-0148-yes:

This confirms exactly what we all knew which Bob chose to describe as shyte. Bob has been insisting Donald was working on projects, chasing investment and becoming more involved in the club.

Donald obviously didn't tell Bob anything of the sort ...

... or if he did he was lying and Bob swallowed it all.

"Donald insisted that he has no active part in decision-making in Sunderland, and that his involvement is purely in funding where required."
"I like being involved in a football club but the roles changed at Sunderland to just writing a cheque if needed."

It's a bit ironic that the one ultimately responsible for outing Bob as a bullshitter....is SD!!

We all knew anyway, but still nice to have it confirmed.

And balls off with your "things change" ****e.

It's exactly as described from some ages ago.

Purely handing over some Dosh when required with zero input on decisions. Zero.

He is keeping his hand in just incase it continues to increase in value. That's it. Nothing more.

He is a nothing, a total irrelevance.

Looks like he was told to make that statement as part of his 'f**k off and don't come back' deal ...

... he couldn't have had any input into decisions as a minor shareholder, hopefully that'll be the last we see of him.

" Writing a cheque if needed."

You'd think from that remark that the club's solvency is hanging on his financial input.

" If needed" means that if he doesn't tip up when told, the value of his shareholding will diminish.

Dear God, how far we slipped to have had such a chancer own us.
