    perez robbed again.

verdtappen winds I tup and takes fastest lap.

nobody warning perez to give it a go I expect.

hopefully the vibrations have either ruined his gearbox or broken something deep in engine for next rave.

Well at least it was more entertaining that it would have been otherwise.

What happened to Lando? He was told to let team mate past and also lost out to Logan! I think Logan was in front of them both, so maybe just McL just too slow.

Anyone else think that Red Bull has some sort of moveable aero within the floor that is skirting the rules?

I watched it today and it gave me active suspension vibes from Mansells Williams cars of yesteryear. Looked incredible.

How was this not dealt with either during the race or prior to the podium? Shambles.

Isn't that what Occon received last race for not completing a penalty corectly? If so then unfortunately he should have the penalty - we do want consistence don't we.

Feel sorry for Alonso though as it wasn't his fault and yet he receives the penalty!

Totally has to be consistent, but just deal with it in a timely manner. Not right after the podium celebrations.

I wonder if it was Merc who noticed it and thought giving stewards too much notice might help Alonso in case of another Safety Car?

I do love Rosberg bigging up Lewis when ever he can - just so he can remember beating him <laugh>

    Shambolic post race penalties AGAIN.

Deal with it in the race where people can put their foot down to try to overcome it.

****ing politics isn’t what we need

Yes my wife explained why .

As to feeling sorry for Alonso , I have always thought if it’s a team error , like today or unsafe release etc , then the team should be penalised and fined or docked points or whatever , it shouldn’t be the driver who suffers .

But if they take constructors points away , that loses them :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

I wouldn't be surprised if Merc didn't spot the pit penalty error but didn't inform the stewards till right at the end of the race so Alonso couldn't pull out a 10 second gap to George and maybe even Lewis could gain a place.

Would be interesting to hear the radio calls to George and Lewis in the closing stages to see if they where both told to close the gap to Alonso.

Both merc and Aston knew there was pens being looked at.

Russell was told to push and alonso was told to respond to open to 5.

Both will be in having case heard prior to call = due process.

Imo they should have dealt with it in race if it was obvious. I could see the car jack go in and it did look odd but I thought no more about it
