If he doesn't come back it'll be the BBC that comes out looking bad. They've handled the whole thing very badly and I don't think, for a moment, they wanted or designed any of this. The chairman has been an absolute disgrace and is still in hiding. I don't like Lineker but he can't lose whatever happens.
I like Lineker and his team and I'm sure he'll have the bbc over a barrel for unfair dismissal. The chairman on the other hand is a tory disgrace and surely cannot come out of hiding.
Him and Shearer covering the Man City game .... .... his voice sounds really croaky from laughing at the BBC.
The BBC has been finished as a main broadcaster for years but the left wing lovies have grown in influence.. I used to watch News Night ,years ago now, when it was clear that the presenters ,Maitliss, Keunsbreg , Robinson and the likes were peddling there bias against all and sundry that didn't go along with their views. Once Keunsbreg and Maitliss made it known that they were going to up and leave the Country after the Brexit vote, that they both now had applied and had been granted American passports, much like Phil Collins did when Blair got in, I'm still waiting for them all to do one and leave the country. rant over.
I get confused with this tbh. Everyone in the country seems to believe the BBC/media/referees are biased against them ... ... true is our case that last one
First one is a no brainer..The last and second from last report ,from before Christmas, confirmed the left wing bias, mostly London Centric along with those two great free speech University City's that had seeped throughout the whole network both Radio and TV.
If it’s the role of the media to highlight what is going on in the world and hold up a mirror then it’s not a biggie for me. I’d expect a slight bias to the right when a left wing government is in power. What’s important is the media is free to play that role. If however the same people that financially back a government into power also control the media there is a problem. The media are a key counterweight.
Just wondering, I like to think I can make my own mind up, perhaps I'm gullible. I always find I criticise the party in power as they're the ones who are responsible ... if they have a big majority I find I criticise them more as they often have total responsibility. After twelve years I'd have expected some progress from the current lot, can't see much tbh.
There isn't much point in criticising the party that aren't in power, however strangely some people seem to do it
