Maybe it’s time some of our players performed to the standard some of us have been saying they’re at. Weston McKennie is a case in point, a player coveted by top European teams and Premier League teams like Arsenal, Spurs and Villa. There is a reason top clubs want him and it’s because he’s a top player, so he really needs to step up now and show doubting fans how good he is. The bollox spouted about swapping Gnonto for McKennie is just that as no way will Leeds allow Willie to leave even if it’s for a £35m player swap. Much depends upon survival and which League we start next season in.

Its amazing that Junior Firpo has played the whole of the last 5 games and that’s a first since we signed him. Yes he was injured, had covid twice, got Ill and further injuries in his first season. But lets be frank he started close season on fire and then got injured and even though fully fit for months was never used by Marsch, he preferred to play a CB rather than Firpo. Well Garcia is showcasing Firpo’s talent and it’s pretty good and why plenty of La Liga clubs are wanting him as well as a couple in Seria A.

We now need Louise Sinisterra to step up and showcase his talent because we all had high hopes of him being the best guy to replace Raphinha and he did start well with 3 goals but non stop injuries have hurt the club so far, so let’s hope he’s now back for the rest of the season. We also now need Rodrigo back to his devastating best. 13 league and cup goals plus the 5 he scored in pre season is a bit special and we need him back firing. Gnonto, Rodrigo, Sinisterra and Georginio should be enough to cause damage anywhere.

How much has Tyler Roberts cost Leeds?
Leeds announced the signing of Roberts from West Brom in January 2018, with the Elland Road outfit paying £1.5m, despite him having made just one senior appearance for the Baggies, with his eye-catching performances on loan with Walsall in League One perhaps the main factor behind his move to Elland Road. At 19, the striker had managed five goals and four assists in 19 appearances for Walsall but was hardly prolific in West Brom's academy, notching just six goals in 35 appearances for the U21s. Unfortunately for Leeds, their gamble on Roberts' potential never paid off, as he boasts just nine goals and ten assists in 108 appearances for the club, including a woeful return of one goal and one assist in 23 Premier League outings last season. Now sent back to Leeds from his loan at QPR due to injury and poor performances.

You can tell Javi Garcia is a bit frustrated with the injuries. Adams out only leaves him with Marc Roca and Weston McKennie (still better than last season) Forshaw still out too so JG is going to bring in Gyabi and Archie Gray, which will not help the 21s.

Congratulations to Mateo Joseph Fernandez who has been selected to join the England U20 squad for 3 games coming up in April. Mateo was actually born in Spain and gets the choice which country he plays for.

Tyler has returned to Leeds for treatment on his injury.

Not sent back because he's not good enough.

We seem to have a lot of wide players for a squad that hasn't used any this season.

Sinisterra, Gnonto, Summerville, Ayling, Kristensen, Firpo and Harrison.

I've liked the look of Summerville. He may not be the finished article, but he's not scared to run at players whereas so many are absolutely petrified of making mistakes.

As some of us suspected, Klich was forced out by Marsch and Klich was angry near the end as he was overlooked from the bench countless times when we were playing poorly and Marsch overlooked Klich to send on anyone else rather than Klich…..

We’ll probably extend his contract by a couple of years and it will be hailed as a mastersroke

I've been saying for a while that some of the squad are underperforming. That includes under Bielsa and Marsch.

Firpo has been here for around 20 months now and has only played acceptable levels of football in about 7 or 8 games with one very good performance. That's not what I expected from a Barcelona player that cost 13 million tbh. He's still got a way to go before we can class him as a success here. He can't have been flying pre season as he didn't even last the first pre season game against Blackpool. Contrary to popular belief I hope he excels for us from here on.

I agree about Sinisterra. He looks the real deal. He's not had a history of injuries previously so it could be over training or he's just picking up niggles after his initial foot injury which can happen. We need him back for the run in.

As for Roberts, I agree with Jammy. He's done OK at QPR but as usual he hasn't had a decent run of games due to injuries. I don't think that will ever change with him. His body just can't deal with it. A shame really as he is a talented lad. I've said before that he just seems a bit thick. His ability on the ball is OK but his decision making isn't good enough. Getting 108 appearances out of a 1.25 million signing in multiple positions isn't that expensive is it?

We're not short in midfield. We have McKennie to come in for Adams with Roca playing. We've got Greenwood to support backed up by Gyabi. Where the **** is Forshaw/Dallas?

I was Klichs biggest fan, especially in the Championship. He was our best player in Bielsa's first two seasons. I think the step up in pace in the PL did for Klichy as well as his high workload in previous seasons. Unfortunately he never really replicated his form in the top division and it was Bielsa who actually dropped him from the starting XI. Klich didn't look happy last season as he was often hauled off first by Bielsa and then Marsch later on. Can anybody really say he was up to standard for us in the PL? Marsch didn't force him out, Klichys lack of form was the major factor. I dunno why we are looking for a story on Klich. His time had naturally come to a conclusion at Leeds. Great servant for us but let's face it, there weren't a massive queue of PL clubs wanting to sign him.

So Archie Gray signs his first pro contract but never realised that ever since he was 15yo and with the first team for league matches he had to have a dressing room of his own and a chaperone? What the fk not everyone is a *****

If he was that settled then he should gave got a job at the local factory or gone and played for Bradford.

The real reason he left was because he clearly wasn't good enough to start games for us. We have better players than him in that position.

I like Klich alot but he's in his 30's and should know how the game works. He'll dislike Marsch as he will blame him for missing the World Cup but the reality is that if he was such a key player they would have taken him anyway.

Players in the team are always content. The lads on the periphery are always a bit pissed off with the manager. That's football.

If I remember right I’m sure Roberts was signed but was injured? Seen to remember him being out for a long time.

Klich was really good first half of the first season in the Prem, definitely seemed to tail off and looked shot for most of last year. He was a brilliant servant for us - but not much room for sentiment in professional sport

Roberts was actually fit when he signed for Leeds… he got crocked in his very first training session - in hindsight there seems something symbolic in that
