I'm still in the No camp. Yes we won 3-0, but Brum's attack were, to put it bluntly, hopeless - they created and missed so many chances after half time which better sides would have put away. What went wrong for us in the second half, I do not know - but it seems probable that it will go wrong again.
That is true. There change of formation and tactics certainly caused us problems till the 3rd goal. Birmingham closed us down better and we had less of an attacking outlet .
Basically playing for one spot as cannot see the 3,4 and 5th teams slipping up . Unfortunately 2 of those are Luton and Millwall !
Our saving grace could be that we only have two of the 'form' teams - Luton and Coventry - left to play. All the rest are below us in the table. Mind you, we are Watford - and that could equally count for nothing.
A little thanks due to Sheff Utd - their win at Sunderland means we're still in the top ten. Shame about Luton winning though.
my thought: IF we make the play-offs, then we will almost certainly be the form team... we all know what that could mean, based on other teams that have gone up via the play-offs in previous seasons
We will have to beat our bestest mates up the M1 and Coventry City to have any chance. I've seen nothing in our performances recently to suggest that this is anything other than a very remote possibility to the point of this happening being something of a pipe dream at best.
