I’m So if they knew when they walked off the pitch , how come they didn’t know at the time ? Unbelievable.
Eh? You must’ve been watching a completely different game to me! And most I know. He was superb. One poor pass but other than that he was brilliant.
the refs can **** off they have ruined our season and this is fixed need this looking into by the F A, offside goal and no Penalty in the 2nd half to us ? this is EVERY game now something will happen if this continues they keep taking the piss someone will do one of them.
As we are now safe ( at least I think we are ) It would be good for Mowbray to start thinking about next season and start playing some players who don't normally get a start ...Bennette, Ekwahe and even the kid Gardiner who is scoring regular for the under 21 team...certainly worth a try. I would also start Rigg in a few games. We really don't have a lot to lose now. I am very happy with this season's efforts, but it would be worthwhile looking at the whole squad and planning for next season....Just a thought
We don’t have the leader in midfield due to injury to Evans, we don’t have the experienced centre forward we desperately need because for whatever reason, one wasn’t brought in in January. The fault isn’t at the feet of Dan Neil or Gelhardt. The fault lies with either bad planning by the club or simple bad luck. Slagging off the young lads who are stepping up and giving everything they have while trying to learn on the job doesn’t help anyone. It’s bad craic.
Just watched the re run of the free kick I didn’t realise that the off side striker made a play for the ball Lazy refereeing again And it’s pointless now apologising when we’ve lost the game
No apology for The blatant penalty though. So if the ref and linesman had been fair, we probably win that game. Cost us 3 points not just the 1!!
I have just emailed the EFL about the standard of refereeing. Maybe if a few others do the same, they will at least think about it. Then again maybe they won't.
I was thinking the same thing, and then thought what can they actually do, they can’t just pluck good referees out of thin air so it looks like we are stuck with them
I really hope we do. He needs to work a bit on his physicality - he was bullied off the ball a lot last night - but he's a clever player who will only improve
Yes I agree it was, and their loan signings are plainly a bit better than ours. Even so it should have been a draw over the 90 mins, and I think that's what the vast majority are saying, it would have been fair on both sides then. That was not the case however and the game left a very bitter taste, personified by O/9's exit. and the circumstances of their "winning goal" both were very hard to swallow..
Agree.... Man of the Match: Luke O’Nien O’Nien was involved all night but especially early on as Sheffield United were in the ascendancy, making vital stops as they looked for an opener. Showed some good feet at times to burst into space when the visitor’s looked to close our team down, put in a good cross that Gelhardt couldn’t find the target with and then took a massive whack to his knee just before his substitution.
