There are matches you lose because of a lack of effort, because of a lack of quality, or because of a lack of luck. This one is going to go down firmly in the lack of quality bucket...all of that time spent in Brentford's half and we have created not a damned thing.
This is really depressing. I almost wish we were dead and buried. Being a few points from safety, in a league with many other crap teams, yet failing to pull ourselves up. It’s awful.
I thought we played well. It's annoying to lose mainly due to our cutting edge. Fans should get behind the team instead of moaning. I would rather watch this effort and performance than under Jones!
Absolutely ****. Brentford (like many teams) just sat in knowing we are too **** to do anything against an organised team. We are definitely down
And that I think is why we are going down. Had some hope before the game. Not much now. A season of poor decisions, and whilst we have improved, we are toothless. I hate it when we start with Ely and Diallo.
And this is why it was obvious we were going down before all the managerial changes. We don't have any good creative players (bar Charly now). Sulemana is at least two or three seasons away from reaching his potential. Spent all that money and we're still playing Walcott and Elyounoussi. Might as well be trying Aribo instead of Moi. Absolute waste of space. That was an easy game for Brentford. Sit deep, make up go down the wings, just wait for the aimless lofted crosses, head it out/goalie collect.
