If we play with as much focus and intensity as today, we'll win the lot! We just need to be confident, consistent, but not cocky. Let's hope these lads get the long overdue confidence from today's game. They'll know they can win if they keep putting the effort in.
Do we still have Hi-Ho Silver Lining for a post-win celebration song or has it been replaced by Wild Thing? I don't think we've won since Jeff Beck passed away.
That was a great and unexpected result. It's good to see the feisty side in the team to surface today. Watford were completely rattled from start to finish. please log in to view this image
What a game! Pulsating, passionate and pressing hard for the whole 97 mins. Kakay is a man reborn, Lyndon and Martin caused them trouble, the defence did well, Field played Watford off the, well, field and young Drewe was MOTM despite Tim scoring a very well taken goal under immense pressure from three Watford men. Well done GA and not ashamed to confess he brought a little tear ro my eye when he came across to share the celebration at the end. Relegation worries rapidly receding.
At last a decent performance & played for each other, they looked all shot at full time whistle with the effort they put in, no one really had a poor game, the mood certainly changing & well done Gareth for putting belief in them, Also well done Kiwi for showing us Stacey & the girls as it certainly helped, I will enjoy the journey home for once as it’s been for too long without a win, Urrrss
Like Stroller, had to miss this, (Trustee meeting followed by baby sitting). I am taking this personally. But I love it. Gareth, thank you, and I love you
SB, you beat me to it. I would say great minds think alike, but you may not like what goes on in my mind. NO, not that!! (Who do you think I am, Kiwi?) The answer is, not much.
Highlights...nice goal by 5vowels... https://www.skysports.com/efl/champ...k-rangers-1-0-watford-championship-highlights Wish I could share the video from my Whatsapp group, showing R Block and others in the Ellerslie stand in full voice, recorded from the Loft....makes your neck hairs stand up
What a game, first at Loftus Road in a while. Hard fought effort from everyone but special mention to Drewe who was motm, Biggest mention goes to the clean sheet - for a defence whose confidence is shot that’s a massive plus. Well done lads, onwards and upwards.
3pts deserverd and that all that matters at the moment. Good to see Gareth go to 3 centre backs. It enabled Kakay to put in a man of the match performance for me. Credit where credit is due.
The instructions were plain to see, get the ball wide and cross early. It was great to see us play with width, seems such a long time ago that we used the full pitch.
