Good game that, probably the right result overall. Some better decision making from Ebiowei could have seen us 2 or 3 up though, rub of the green going Cov's way and we could have been 2 or 3 down. Onwards and upwards.
Sorry Vern, my post isn't as clear as I meant it to be - by reds and whites i was referring to the Hull born inadequates who support Leeds and Liverpool.
It felt like they got a lot more shots off near to the goal, even if we blocked them. It's good that we eventually woke up though, need to find a spark quicker than waiting for the first goal as seems to happen. Traore seems to be improving fitness, hopefully he will get impressive with more games.
Better second half. For 10 or so minutes after we scored we had chances to add to our score but once they equalised a draw became the good result it, on balance, is.
Much better second half. It was 16 shots to 2 in their favour in the first half. 9-9 in the second. My wish at half time to stop passing around the back and bring on attacking players was pretty much granted and we should have gone 2-0 up, which would have likely killed the game. I thought Coyle and Elder were excellent second half. Overall a draw isn’t good for either team but at least we went for the 3 points. UTT.
Really enjoyed that ,much better second half after Rosie does his tinkering.I would have taken a point this morning. We will not be bothering the play offs nor the relegation spots .It’s a comfortable mid table finish ,which the way we were before Christmas I would gladly of taken then .Let’s enjoy what’s left of this season with no pressure and get ready to go next season .
If the club are paying for free coaches for fans the least they could do is organise for the real fans who travel in cars to get away first rather than holding them up so the coaches can get out, Plenty of other clubs wouldn’t hold up the real fans. **** first half, decent second. Seri struggled with Simons alongside him. Deserved a point, maybe more. We move on.
Good point that, just to top it off Barnet got knocked out the quarter final of the FA Vase today on penalties. Will be getting the beers in tonight
How much do City get for each away ticket they sell? They must get a good deal on the free travel coaches. What I am thinking about is if we are getting an extra 1,500 to 2,000 at every away match it may be a good investment next season.
and they are the "unreal fans"? when I lived in Hull I would go by train now I live in London I go to matches by tube/train or car if I am a "real fan" when I go by train, what am I when I go by tube or train?
