He said they were using the same language as was used innGermany in the 1930s. Which was stupid and incorrect.

Because he made out he thought the BBC were impotent and he could abuse his position without any comeback

The BBC impartiality is a load of bollocks anyway. Andrew Neil was hardly impartial on his private social media or when writing for newspapers whilst still employed by the BBC. Lineker did nowt wrong.

Also he never explicitly said the government were Nazis. He said the rhetoric around refugees in the UK by the government is similar to the rhetoric in Germany in the 30s, which it is. There weren’t death camps yet in the 1930s in Germany but there was still a lot of rhetoric about certain groups being fifth columns and threats to society.

We have a no politics rule on here, which has been well and truly exceeded by many posters on two threads now.

Either jack it in, or we’ll have to remove posters or close the threads, thanks.

Similar to the rhetoric in the Soviet Union in the 1930s when show trials saw thousands executed or dispatched to the gulags as enemies of the state. Why notbuse as an example?

Lineker could’ve easily used that as a comparison as well and I don’t think it would’ve justified him losing his job either. What’s your point? Or is it just another case of whataboutism from Captain Whataboutery again?

Probably not what you're talking about impartiality

Castro would’ve defended Lineker if he tweeted that having sex with 14-year-olds was okay.

The point is a lot of the people defending Lineker would be criticising him if he had. And vice versa.

You'd hope that people would have ability to discuss if someone should be free to post personal opinions while working for the BBC, without the need to bang on about people in boats, the quality of life in Albania and when Nazi's starting gassing people.

Sadly, it seems they can't help themselves.

Alex Scott isn't going to get many goals easier than that.

Harry Cornick sends a cross into the box from the right and it's a total defensive howler from Blackpool who go to clear the ball and pass it straight into the feet of Scott.

Bloody Alex Scott gets everywhere eh Castro?

Looks like you're as up to date on Chelsea's fortunes as you are on most things.
