…..we’re soon up against Leeds, Everton then Forest at home who are desperately trying to avoid relegation. The way Graham Potter is organising the team at the moment I’d say 2 points (two score draws, one loss) from 9. Stick or twist Mr. Boehley.

Everton will beat us, they might knick one from a set piece and they’ll get men behind the ball and we’ll look clueless again.

The other two games we might get a 0-0 but it depends how good Leeds & Forest are on the counter. We’re absolutely hopeless when it comes to scoring a goal.

……a very worrying situation. What should have been a relatively easy fixture run in to a 4th place Champions League finish now looks like a scrap to avoid relegation. Leeds, Everton and Forest at home now look like difficult games to pick up points. All very sad.

At what point do you start holding the players accountable? I haven't watched your last two games but I wonder how many have got fire in their belly.

Stick with Potter, I think you'll be better off for it in the long run.

I think we will have to stick to Potter now and into the first few months of next season. HOWEVER, we must clean out all the players he doesn’t want at seasons end keep only a manageable squad of his choice and add a striker and maybe one other position. Then there are no more excuses for anyone, Management or Manager, and we will see how the “Plan” works ,or not.

Agree, and I think Potter/Boehly are waiting to do just that in the summer. Also bringing in a proper CF i.e. Nkunku in the summer.

That's the plan I guess. Doesn't make sense to sack Potter at the moment.

Well there is talk of us getting either Victor Osimhen or Tammy Abraham back in the summer.
I would be happy with either of those. Also Inter have passed on buying Lukaku and said he will be back at Chelsea after his loan spell has ended, so we will probably end up with two strikers after this season is done.
As for Potter, if he doesnt get at least 6 points from the next three games he needs to just go.
Keeping a guy for the long haul is all we and good if he is underperforming somewhat, but we shouldnt be losing at home to teams like Southampton, and if we dont beat Forest and Leeds then he has to go, thats untenable in my view.
I can understand, with the squad in its current state why we aren't challenging for honours, but we should not be getting sucked into a relegation battle and we should not be getting 2 wins from 15 games, no matter who is in charge, with the squad we have. No man can expect to keep their job with Chelsea if he is pumping out results like that, thats just the way it is.

I have nothing against Potter, but he isn't cutting the mustard, even a little, right now and we cant just lump ourselves with a dead duck. I'd even be happier to appointment an assistant on an interim or bring in someone to see out the season like we did with Benitez and Hiddink.

I genuinely feel that most of our issues come from the fact we don’t have a recognised striker. It’s not that we are playing badly, we’re just absolutely toothless up front.
The answer is not getting Lukaku back. My god what a terrible piece of business that was.
