Excellent.....don't answer if you'd prefer not but I'm intrigued how you came to live in such a beautiful, remote place yet support the Saints.

Apparently last night’s aurora put on a show as far south as the Quantocks here in Somerset. Sadly the light pollution to the north of me probably obscured it.

It was major last night. Seen as far South as Cornwall! Have a look at Lochaline Hotel on Facebook for more. I will put up a few videos in the coming days too if you're interested. Also, one of the few places you'll see unedited and unenhanced photo's of it! I've seen lots this morning that make me cringe (even on the BBC!!)

Edit - oh and come and stay at a Saints friendly hotel in Northern Scotland :)

    I'm in hospital!

Don’t Panic! I ate what I thought was an onion, but it was a daffodil bulb!

Doctors reckon I'll be out in the Spring.

A fifteen year old Amish boy and his father were in a shopping centre. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.

The boy asked, "What is this Father?"

The father (never having seen a lift) responded, "Son, I have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is."

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, an old woman with a cane moved up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened, and the lady ambled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small numbers above the walls light up sequentially.

They continued to watch until it reached the last number… and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order.

Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous 24 year-old blonde stepped out.

The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son.....

    "Go and get your Mother.”

I was interested when I saw your post the other day about living in Morvern, so I looked it up on Google Maps and you certainly are remote aren't you? We toured the west coast a few years ago now but never got that far over. I can't say I know the area that well but have been to Oban and Fort William a few times and always look forward to driving through Glencoe. Scotland is a visually stunning country but the weather would do for me, I'm a Southern softie. Are you still working?

I had a lovely holiday in Scotland in the sixties...Glencoe, Fort William and Oban is a stunning drive, but snow in September!! Slept in my overcoat and still froze, because heating apparently unnecessary in Scotland. Not for me. Brrrr

My first trip to Scotland was about 5 years ago when I had to go to Glasgow for work. Flew from Southampton, landed in Glasgow, stayed at a city centre hotel. Hated it. My next trip (also for work) was about a year later and I had to stay in Edinburgh due to Glasgow hotels being full. A lot more interesting as I actually got to drive (albeit from Edinburgh to Glasgow and back and see some of the scenery and also spend long summer evenings in the capital. My third trip incorporated a weekend (work still), but this time we got to get out and about and I was blown away by the scenery. Beautiful place. It helped it was summer, but really loved it.

I did exactly the same, whenever I see a place name that I don't recognise I look it up on google maps. We also toured up the west coast a few years ago, loved it.
I've always been interested in where people originate and, although I've got a rotten memory, seem to always recollect place names.

We bought a little hotel about a year ago and have refurbished it. I take wildlife photography workshops and trips and work online as a software engineer (mainly for a sports analytics company). Morvern is a wonderful and largely undiscovered place that will hopefully be discovered by more and more people in time as they venture off the beaten track. We boast around the highest biodiversity in the UK (and the highest pine marten population). It's a staggeringly beautiful place.

Two drunk guys go to a brothel. The madam says to her manager "Put an inflatable in two rooms these guys are too drunk to notice". A little while later the drunk guys are walking home one guy said "Mine didn't move at all you would've thought she was dead". The other guy replied "I think mine was a Witch because I bit her on the arse and she farted then she flew out the f**king window.
