Roland seems to think they're playing championship manager..... Jesus Christ was anyone really expecting to win a trophy yet? It's more like they'll start losing semis and finals quite regularly and then eventually they'll win one . There's some very good teams in this league above and below us.
The possession stat and comparative shots on target shows it all. We were wasteful with what we had, they never got out of second gear. I saw absolutely no rush on their end to get the ball off us, panic, fight us, score or anything. They just picked it up twice first half, passed it through easy as, slotted it home. Bang, done. We were finished after the first, we showed so little response. This isn't me saying the club is doomed and we are **** and I demand new owners or a manager. That's what happened in the game. I was furious when we drew against Palace, because we played bad, I was furious when we lost against Pool, we played bad, I am furious we lost today, because we were ****ing hopeless. I think some of our fans have a fetish for looking at half naked men sometimes as opposed to the game.
Can I suggest that you either: a) start supporting Manchester City, or b) seek anger management support
You aren't a gatekeeper on how people are meant to respond to a loss. There are 52,000 people in that stadium each week with different responses there are like 1 million people around the earth who watch newcastle every week with different responses and personalities you and munson are in the business of telling people what to think and feel and cry when others say "na we were ****"
Mate please, EFL says it all. Please return once your team has the ability to play us in the superior league. Until then, we will remain superior. The North East belongs to us. But good luck lifting another trophy at Wembley this season, oh wait
Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely fooking gutted. I made the 300 mile trip up in the opposite direction, to watch the game with my old man, in Whitley Bay. Sadly he won't get to see another Toon cup final and I desperately wanted this win - more than anything, just to be there and see the look on his face. I'm absolutely shot to bits that we didn't win. BUT I'm not blaming anyone or singling anyone out (players, manager or owners). We are where we are, early stages of shifting away from years of Ashley literally killing the club.
It’s a hard one to summarise. 12 months ago, we would of dreamed of being in this position. But cause we’ve got used to being higher up in the league we expect more and more. Who’d have thought 2 years ago we’d have Bruno Guimaraes playing for us? Just feel it’s about managing expectation in a reasonable timeframe. For the first time ever, I fully believe we will be back & we’ll learn from what we couldn’t / didn’t do today. It’s an exciting future, we’re lucky… imagine supporting Bolton or something, we have to take it into perspective. We have to walk before we can run. We will learn from top to bottom. Some people have short term visions, some have long term, it’ll never change. I’m probably in the middle so I can’t say **** like. We’ll get our revenge on the Manc ****s. Also, why does Ten Haag proper remind me of Dr Evil?
Too much crying for my liking ....today we announced our arrival back as one of the clubs competing for major trophies after a quarter of a century away . It looked like we'd NEVER challenge ever again.
Don't recall responding to everyone and saying they're out of order like. which you have been doing following me round like a lost puppy I'll come at anyone who responds to me like they're somehow a superior minded person cos of how i respond to a loss
Yep, reality check today, but still, under Ashley we'd have gone out of this competition against Birmingham reserves in the first round.
But I dont think pretending everything is gonna be great regardless helps. We need to look at performances like today and analyse them not just say we should be thankful. I'm so pleased I got to see us get to another final however I also think the performance in this game and those previous need some serious evaluating as they weren't up to scratch, some of the performances by certain players have been shocking.
There's definitely an element of people worrying about what other fans think... They're relieved man and deep down they know newcastle will be a ****ing nightmare for them now every season. We've been bought by the PIF .... they wanted to win today and will want to even more now .
