They mentioned a stat before that I might of misheard. I think it was Chelsea have scored 1 goal from their last 77 shots!!!
It’s amazing how the manager can have such an impact on the team despite huge expenditure and a squad full of expensive players. Graham Potter definitely made the team worse. I cannot believe Tuchel could ever play such an awful team. That Graham Potter team looks confused and might play another 10 hours without scoring a goal. Talk about sacking a manager to take your team backwards.
Chelsea are an example of how not to run a club. if you handed just about any well run club 600mil to spend with the objective of winning the league they would probably get close. there's lots of examples of clubs losing the run of themselves with money. spurs after bale fee comes to.mind
Well the butchers have gone with best 11 bar Pope so about 4 going to be injured after 15mins the rusty steelers have the big lump, the guy who does stupid tricks and the midget cb newcastle to score form set play?? the rusty ones to win 4-1
Newcastle all over them for opening thirty minutes, Man Utd go up the other end and score And then a scuffed shot and deflection... 2-0 Edit; first was offside too, VAR let it stand still
Didn’t look offside to me. Woukdnt say Newcastle were all over them either. Had bit more of the ball but never threatened.
Looked offside on the view they showed, but the VAR would have a different view as they could put the lines down, very close call but as it is UTD it was obviously going to stand.
tbf to Karius he hasn't done alot wrong. first goal he had no chance on. second, maybe he should have saved it and perhaps if he'd played any football in the last 2 years he'd had been sharper to save it. But it took a nasty loop deflection. Other than that he's made some saves and distributed fairly well.
Definitely looked offside to me. I'd like to see how those lines are drawn up in more detail, with a bit more time to look at them properly.
