Yeah Tella won’t come back, Burnley will surely want to make the deal permanent and you would assume he would want the move.
If Burnley want to pay big money for him, then OK he can stay there. But otherwise, he's under contract with us until 2025 I believe. I doubt Burnley will spend massive amounts this summer - their owners are not the Forest owner, for example - in which case, paying big money for Tella could represent a decent chuck of their budget. And that would be a big risk. We've got first hand experience of wasting money on Championship strikers.
We have something like 35 players in the first team squad if you include the likes of Tella/Lis/Smallbone coming back. You would think at least half of them will be off in the summer if we go down
Passive, far too passive and Leeds wouldn't take the bait. All we achieved was playing the whole game in our own half. Sulemana was very out of sorts, didn't know when to press, didnt chase the ball enough and literally walked around up front, not at all what I expected from him. Onwards lads, there's another game next week at home and we will see if this nice young manager can get a response to that waste of 90mins.
I'm glad you use the 'if' word!! That is the case until it's impossible to stay up. Without that belief there's no point in playing or watching.
Well I think his point is fair enough. If he'd had a 6 week World Cup break to implement new ideas and processes, he wouldn't have that excuse. Much as Jones shouldn't.
