I thought SA were favourites from the start of England's innings with their bowling line up. Fair play to SA. Hope they win the final.
Me too, but gotta get used to it. Ain't gonna change now, with the new way of playing. Annoying but it seems he's willing to try and hit every ball to the fence in pursuit of entertainment !
I think the Aussies were lucky to get into the final. The Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur was going strong and got run out when her bat got stuck in the ground. It gave the Aussies that bit of luck they needed. Besides, SA were probably favourites before the tournament.
If we lose and with our captain going home, l'll quickly blame our lack of leadership and any other excuse l can use. Stay tuned.
2 incredible catches from Pope, the 2nd one was unbelievable. Mitchell gone last ball before the interval, 6 down now. Everything England touch at the moment turns to gold. The Aussies should be ****ting it, hopefully India can cause them some more mental torture in their 3rd Test !
NZ. V. ENG. COP day 2 second test . Rain stopped play and it stayed stopped . NZ - 138-7 Trail by 297 runs with 3 Wickets remaining . Anderson & Leach 3 Wickets each . Broad 1 Wicket .
Another superb day from England. Apart from Stokes yet again batting like a simpleton. I realise he's trying to lead the Bazball era by example, but all he does is throw his wicket away. If he just bats in his normal way, he will score plenty quick enough. He's far too good a batsman to bat like a brainless Sunday league slogger.
Good fightback by NZ. Enforcing the follow on was not the best idea with hindsight. Also, some poor bowling from England, especially Stokes, who seemed to lose the plot a little. Anderson in particular didn't seem too chuffed with bowling again on a slowing wicket in the sunshine. Please don't over bowl him before the Ashes! NZ finish on 202-3, still 24 behind.
Mmm, Broad and Anderson had to leave the field for treatment. Not clever enforcing the follow on with these two needing to be looked after before the Ashes. England finish 48-1, needing 210 more to win.
