Genuine wowzers moment when checking score this morning.... England's day by a country mile

 

We are witnessing a very very special player ! Has every shot in the book, and some that aren't. His temperament is exceptional aswell, knowing when to suck up the pressure, and when to take the attack to the bowlers. If carries on like this, **** knows how many runs he'll eventually end up with. Only problem I can envisage is burnout, from playing every option of the game. Hopefully we'll handle him well, but at the moment just enjoy watching him.

 

I recorded the days play and watched it today, without knowing any scores.
That's probably the greenest wicket I've ever seen and when England lost the toss and were quickly 3 down, I feared the worst.
But, **** me, what a partnership.
Having Brook at the other end allowed Root to play his normal game.
A fantastic ton from Root.
Brook is a ****ing freak of nature.
Please keep it going for the Ashes, because at some point, his form must dip.
