Been to Corfu,Zakynthos,Kefalonia,Samos,Athens,
Piraeus and got Married in Rhodes.
Kefalonia is my favourite so far.

Been to Katelios on Kef a few times so laid back

 

Nice little village,used to stay next one a long Skala but like everywhere else gets too developed but not as much as the other main resorts on the island

 

We went to Katelios first about 10 years ago, then went there again last year no additional buillding at all. Popped over to Skala both times and it had been built up.

We had our honeymoon in 1987 in Poros, it was a little village then. Now it is the main port for the ferries from Italy and the Greek mainland not a holiday destination at all!

 

Me and missus used to hire a scooter and go to other quieter beaches on it.Not a lot of space around Katelios for development especially the front where the fish restaurants are.
When I first went to Corfu many years ago Kavos at the bottom of the Island was bare with just one bar down by the beach,now it's a raving chaotic mess.
