    4-0 confidence building win.

Some good play and certainly more urgency in the opening minutes of the match that helped set the tone. This was a game that needed to be won and we have done that. On to the next.

    That's a relief.

    4 goals scored, none conceded.

Bolton lose, gap to Plymouth cut to 8.

Sounds like a much more purposeful performance.

All in all a good Saturday for us.

    BUT,

It's exactly the same result as Morecambe, and that didn't jolt us out of the slide. We need to back it up with another win before we can breathe easy again and maybe start making up some lost ground.

Yep, that’ll do. Good performance against a very bad Forest Green side. Atmosphere was great, particularly for the Sir Bobby tribute on 78 minutes (and then we scored to cap it all off!)

Much needed three points and better performance following on from the mid-week disappointment. Plymouth and Bolton dropped points too, shame about that Wednesday comeback.

Arguably our strongest line up today, hopefully McKenna sticks with it for the next couple of games to build momentum. Chaplin and Broadhead should be starting every match, quality players.

Sounds like a great result and performance today. Also sounded like we were far more balanced down the left hand side with Broadhead in the team and ultimately it sounds like Chaplin playing as the only 10. Surely Chaplin should be one of the undroppables at the moment. I'd also suggest Ladapo must feel pretty unlucky at his lack of consistent starts this season.

Getting a result today was massive as not doing so would've put McKenna under real pressure. I didn't see the game but it sounded familiar to the Morcombe game, getting that early goal makes a difference and Forest Green didn't play the low block.

Sterner tests are ahead and like others have said I'd like to see some consistency in team selection. Hoping this is a turning point but we must find a way to win against teams who sit back and haven't seen that yet.

Not much in the way of opposition to be fair but it was a good win and it easily could have been 7 goals, it was a bit like attack v defence most of the time with Morsy running the show but 4 goals, clean sheet, and 3 points will do nicely.
And so on to M K the terrific stadium with hardly any fans, there will be nearly 7000 of us so should make for a noisy afternoon and hopefully 3 points.
