If you read my post you’d realised I fully understood GE2 and was merely commenting.

The offensive behaviour started with you, I am simply responding in kind. If you are going to be rude and misunderstand what others have written and then start swinging your arrogance around, don’t get all precious when someone fights back.

    You’re a classic playground bully.

The extraordinary thing is you could have just written “Oh sorry, I see what you mean” after I explained my post the first time. Everyone makes mistakes so it’s forgivable that you misinterpreted my first post.

But because you’re so proud and arrogant you’re utterly incapable of apologising and admitting mistakes, so as ever things just escalate as you double down on your errors.

Sorry, but I'm not the only one sick to the back teeth of reading these "spats" between you two aired (almost daily) on a public football forum. Can you please sort them out privately, by Direct Message, or just put the person on "ignore". We'd all be eternally grateful. <ok>

    Sorry. Happy to do so.

In fact, even happier if Robbie agrees to stop addressing me as I try to do my best to avoid addressing him. That way no-one has to suffer it.

The team is like a s...stuttering engine at the moment. There is quality there, but I think the mental fragility of two relegation for many of the players and the failure to try and play a different style of football under Smith has caused mental issues more than anything else. We need a clearout over the summer and get some new minds in (even if they are bargain basement with less 'talent', we need mental strength and fortitude. I think this is why we make so many mistakes at the back!

I object to being tarred with the same brush as Rob. Can you point to any post of mine in which I've referred to anyone as rude, an idiot, an arsehole, a total prick, or accused them of arrogance or dishonesty? My practice is always to address the post, not the poster, despite being regularly subjected to offensive personal comments by several on here.
As for Rob's saying that he does his best to avoid addressing me, I invite you to look back over this and previous seasons and see how often it happens that the first response to something I've posted has been from Rob. It's almost as if he's on the lookout for anything I post and makes it his business to comment on it.
These "spats" are instigated by Rob, not me, so please don't ask me to stop instigating them.

The trouble is, we have no money for a clear out. One week, we're praising the players for 4-0 and 4-2 away wins, then then saying they're not good enough when they lose to Burnley and Bristol, then praising them again after they beat Hull, only to say they're not good enough after a draw at Wigan which was frustrating in the extreme, but not the end of the world.

First we need to finish the rest of this season and see what Wagner can do with the players we have. I don't see post traumatic relegation symptoms in our current players since he arrived. Instead, there's a willingness to make the new tactics work, but that will take time. Apart from McLean, who had an off day at Wigan, the player ratings on WhoScored weren't bad and some were very good - Gunn (7.8 & Motm), Giannoulis (7.5), Sara (7.3) Hanley (7.2), Hernandez (7.2) and Aarons (7.0). Wagner has already slimmed down the squad and I'm sure there will be some new players he wants to add, but I doubt there will be any major clear out come the summer.

I obviously completely disagree*, but you’re always going to do you - so how about you agree to stop continuing the spats? I’ve offered and asked for that and it looks like it’s what others want. No addressing each other, or referring to each other’s posts from now on. Deal?

*Since Smith got fired (as far back as I could be arsed to check, and I know I avoided you for a period before Smith was fired) you’ve attacked me twice unprovoked - and the only time I have initiated a dispute with you was after you lost it with Canario. In that interim I’ve either defended your position/agreed with you (multiple things on stats and crowd abuse) or added information (on the shareholder shenanigans).
But let’s not let facts get in the way eh.

I could still see a minimum of:

    Gibson
McGovern (could become a keeping coach for us)
    Aarons/ Byram (one of)
    Placheta
Pukki (Wagner may persuade him otherwise, but I feel he will move on)
    Hayden

These three are already loaned out:
    Rashica
    Sinani
    Martin

This would open up 5 first team squad places as a minimum (20%). Okay you could say one less because Mumba could come in, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get another CB as a cheaper Gibson (less wages). I have attached the contact expiry of the next two years (yes expect some have an additional year), but I suspect we might want a refresh if we can. A refresh derived from lower leagues and British Isles I would expect!

    It takes two to tango.
Sort out any grievances with Rob (or anyone else) privately in future, by DM / PM and not on the public forum. Imagine any 'newbies' thinking of joining us - not a hope in hell when they read posts bitching about fellow contributors comments. Future instances by either of you will be deleted.

That's well thought out Zog. I think Sinani and Martin have already gone and Rashica may well stay in Turkey for about half of what we paid for him. I also agree that our third keeper should be a young player with regular play in the U23s as well. I've given up predicting Aarons leaving, but Mumba coming back needs a place and I doubt Hayden will stay if we're not in the PL, besides which he isn't a good fit in Wagner's tactics. I'm not sure about Gibson and Placheta, both of whom do suit those tactics (a left footed CB and a pacy attacker). We'll have to wait and see.

Just use the ignore button , some posters only contribute after a poor result to demonise players they don't like & to defend the most cleverest tactical genius that ever walked the Carrow Road dug out Deano Smith .
Chastising the ignorant uneducated "fans" that hounded out the poor guy because they are still Farke fan boys holding back the future of the club .

Either as a perverse wind up or because they refuse to be wrong ever about anything.

There is no point arguing as that would mean you took the bait , or you become the bad guy .

I believe this is characterised as a cry bully .

It's best to roll your eyes at the posts without reply or simply ignore the poster .

As has been stated already , if there are any new posters that want to jump into the board the sniping & arguing probably puts them off.

Over the years I've shown people the forum & they have attempted to make accounts but it seems impossible to join now which explains why there isn't any new contributors on the site .

As posters leave our numbers get smaller , I'm mid 40s & from what I understand one of the youngest , which doesn't bode well for the future of the board.

My kids have attempted to create accounts over the years and failed to get past admin new accounts set up .

It's pretty easy to get banned though.

If you simply deleted abusive and offensive posts which contravene the Terms and Conditions of these forums, such "grievances" would not arise. I can't imagine anything more likely to put new people off than to see some on here describing others as idiots and arseholes etc. There's no justification for this kind of personal denigration and if you won't stamp down on it, don't be surprised if the victims of it fight back themselves.
