Could have been, but if we lost we’re adrift We know now if we can next week we go above Leeds But as I keep saying, don’t worry too much about other teams until the last 5 games or so. They’ll all pick up points along the way, we just need enough to still be in the mix at the end .
What a result! Does this mean I have to do the next Premier League match thread? No pressure then! Get in lads, awesome performance, grinding out the win, handling the long stoppage, not losing focus, is Selles a genius or is he just not NJ?
Well, well, well. Give the man the job for life. That felt like watching an early Ralph team. Or, dare I say it, even a Poch-esque team. Such commitment, and considering the base we were coming from, such confidence. Just bloody brilliant, and a big word for Bazunu today, who was excellent. Lavia is some player, isn't he? Play with that level of buy-in and commitment the rest of the season, and we're not cooked yet.
We've again shown that we can beat sides out of form. We lose left, right and centre to sides who are in form - but against an out-of-form side, we can win. Sadly, we seem to run into far more in-form sides than out-of-form sides. But that's another reason why next week is so big. Not just because Leeds are a direct rival, but because they are another out-of-form side.
Standing ovation for that. The passion was there to be seen especially after the Perraud goal line clearance and the Lavia block from the follow up. Loved that.
I couldn't watch the 2nd half and so watched some films instead. Mission Impossible Fight Club The Great Escape I feel a lot better now
Here's a crazy thought: you'd have to think that is it for Graham Potter. And you'd have to think he would be an appealing target for Leeds. Has a team ever faced the same manager in back-to-back weeks with different clubs?
Leeds can have him. I really want us to give Ruben the keys right now. And yes, Dean Smith - Aston Villa and Norwich, both against us.
Like I said at half time. Chalk and cheese! What a performance. I felt like I was watching a Ralph team in its absolute prime. Every player gave everything and we looked like a cohesive unit. The subs seemed questionable at the time but they worked! We are not completely down just yet. COYR
