I think KLD will look for other investment at some point. I trust him to appoint the appropriate personnel to help out.

Obviously we will be, but the vast majority would rather we stick with someone like KLD, who seems to be running S.A.F.C. the right way, honestly & ethically, rather than the way that The Maggots have done things where the fans must/should be embarrassed and ashamed of what has become of their club :emoticon-0148-yes:

I hope we never see one personally. This is so much more enjoyable than buying players for 10s of millions.

I'm enjoying this much more than when Short was pumping money in ...

... it's a joy to be a Sunderland supporter at the moment.

    I'll stick.

I love me the way our club is ran.

I love the thought of being sustainable.

I love that we are developing youth and making thought out decisions.

I love that the owners aren’t tyrants, murderers and homophobes.

I’m proud of our club again, on every level. Keep your power trip billionaires.

My thoughts too mate, spot on.

Lets be a club for Sunderland people again eh. I feel like KLD gets that. Every time a local lad pulls the shirt on my chest puffs out. Everytime young lads come in and sound thrilled to be with us I smile. Every time our manager praises our fans I give a little nod.

We dont need any owners like Chelsea or Newcastle. That is a model that has no sense at all of player development, nor of community development. Football clubs are far more than record signings and transfer deadline days. I love that my club is taking us back to a world where coaching young players is valued and fans connect with those young players. Would love to coach at youth level for them because you know you are playing a role in the first team.

We have something special happening here. If we keep on this path for 2 or 3 years we will be another Brentford. Give me Brentford over Tottenham or Arsenal any day.

I see us as a Leicester with more potential to grow.

Don’t mind telling you I’m more than happy there.

I think it's fair to say we'd be an appealing target for buyers, we're building a reputation as an exciting team, it looks like we'll be back in the prem this season or the next and presumably you'd get a better price now than you would after promotion.

I don't think Dreyfus will be the slightest bit interested in selling though. He's only just getting started with his project and it's going great I don't see him entertaining any offers. Which suits me fine I love the way he's running the club.

    Quite.

A football team is meant to represent the people from the area, or those who have attachments to the area, or those who otherwise feel an attachment to it. That is why clubs were formed.

A team is not meant to represent any country or state, even if it were Holland or Spain or whoever, rather than an odious Middle Eastern, Muslim dictatorship.

The day that happens to us, is the day I'm done.

After centuries with little interest in football the Qataris, Saudis, etc, are now buying up European clubs and flooding them with money. There's scant regard for where in the country that club is, not even which country.

As long as they can pretend, to the relevant FA it isn't actually the state buying the club while making it obvious to the public that it is ...

... it'll be interesting to see who's at Wembley next week.

Will any of the Saudi or Qatari state be there I wonder.

    Good question Smug.

It must be ****e being the owner of a football club, yet you can't show your face at a game...a big game, in case you are rumbled as being the owner of that football club.

What a shambles club ownership is becoming.

At least with ours, and many other clubs, our owners can be there, with their heads held high. (Whilst still attached to their body).
