It was a typical Oscar performance but it just looked worse because you had Tetteh playing alongside him who closes down more, runs harder, puts himself about more, and is better aerially and better on the ball. Oscar scores in bunches, it's just the more I watch Oscar the less I'm sold on him. I really don't like that he has little to no impact on a game unless he scores.
but players at this level generally have more weaknesses if he was a far better all round forward, he'd be at a higher level
Of course, completely agree. I just think his goals gloss over an awful lot of weaknesses and I completely understand why no bigger sides (decent top 5 league sides) wanted to take a punt on him. He's the least technical attacker we have right now in our squad by a country mile. I just hoped he'd be better in that department
Personally more frustrated by the Connolly injury than Seri. We have had awful luck with injuries to forward players this season. Constantly feels like one step forward, one step back on injuries.
Not according to Baz. Late change Ryan Woods hurt in the warm-up, so he won't be on the bench. Tobias Figueiredo comes in for him.
