Awful news, not the news that anyone wanted to hear but thankfully he’s been found so at least his family can have some closure as hard as that will be. There will be bodies most likely never recovered I’m sure so thankfully now he can be laid to rest. RIP Christian.
He seemed a lovely man, sending money back to his home village and trying to help the community there etc.
Sad news. Obviously no more or less sad than anyone else that died during the quakes but obviously makes more headlines. Hopefully his and everyone else’s families can grieve in piece.
A nice vid of his goals, assists and skills from 16/17, a great player for us that season, and really established himself that season as a regular player, rather than a perennial Chelsea loanee. Like Tiote, a player whose best years we were lucky to have.
Rest in peace: out of respect to him and all the victims I did a 15 mile walk. My body is aching but I felt I needed too. No idea why? But RIP!
