Away from home the smart money is always on Leeds to lose. Although we have managed one win and a few draws. Doesn't stop everyone on here forecasting a win though and never will
Everton need to win this one more than we do, a part of me says play the conservative game and hit them on the break, the fear is trying to up the pace when needed. We’ve looked awful when we’ve had slow starts which usually leads to gifted goals
My head tells me that we’ll lose this. Agree they will make it niggly and physical. They will kick **** out of Gnonto and try to get him sent off cos Dyche will know that he’s temperamental and likely to react. We need to keep corners and free kicks into our penalty area to a minimum. We will need to stop missing sitters a la Summerville and Sinisterra and we’ll probably have to score three as we concede two goals in almost every match we play.
The only reason Everton have got the better of us was down to rubbish tactics. Let's see if the coaches can see what we saw was wrong. No need to go gung ho leaving gaps for them to exploit. I can't help thinking there may be a sending off or two. Gnonto needs to shut the fu and stop pestering the refs.
it would be interesting if both teams parked the bus… be like volleyball - neither side leaving their own half, punting the ball back and forth. Like Millwall v Wimbledon in the 80’s.
A couple of first half goals? Have you been been at my stash? I've lost count of the amount of times we have gone in front this season and I have said to Ben "we really need a second to draw them out". The only time we got a two goal lead that I can remember was Southampton away and we still managed to blow that It is almost laughable that when we took the lead for the third time at Spurs we all knew 14 minutes left was going to be too long to hold a lead. I've aged this season Jammy I really have, I probably look about 40 now mate.
Quite Marcos. Lovely idea this get a lead then hold on to it. Not been so great in practice. It was all down to the useless Yankee Doodle though and his crazeeee subs. If he’d carried on attacking at spurs we’d have bagged a few more instead of losing, if he’d instructed struijk to not kick someone in the penalty area - and advised aaronson to pass to our man not theirs - we’d have beaten West Ham too. And if he’d advised llorente to never put on a Leeds shirt again 6 months ago we might be pushing for Europe
Rumour has it the wacky baccy might knock 15 years off you (in your mind at least) but it’s a bugger for short term memory loss
Personally I would be happy with four points from the next two games and it doesn't matter which ones.
Good afternoon all Preferably the three against Everton as Southampton look as they are going down anyway.
