This smacks of power struggle in the board to me. Was thinking about this earlier (and referenced it re the longer contract in previous post). Seems to me that Ankersen having cocked up with Jones, they've tried to get Marsch as more of a Semmens pick, but Ankersen only allowing that if it's on a pissy little contract until the end of the season. It SCREAMS "we have no confidence in what we're doing here". Not surprised that Marsch would turn that down. Just no commitment.

 

Oh dear. Just relegate us now ffs.

 

This probably means we are going down then, Ahh well. Could be worse...

Didn’t know anything about Marsch until he was sacked, so can’t really say I saw him as the answer to a maidens prayers. Teach us not to rush to get attached

 

Crook seems to think Marsch didn't fancy it, which means Marsch desperately wanted to join.

 

Marsch had dangled a carrot infront of the board and then pulled it away.

 

I have absolutely no faith in Selles, given he's been here all season.

 

Yeah, I do struggle to see how he's the answer.

I wonder who there is now though.

 

We were also terrible in the one game he took charge of - Sheffield Wednesday in the cup.

Yeah I don’t care what I hear about Marsch changing his mind or whatever, that just sounds like club spin to me. I am not blaming him, it is another total **** up by SR.

They shouldn’t have leaked that he was their preferred candidate without his name being written in blood on the contract. Just creating a rod for their own backs and look utterly out of their depth in running a football club.

 

The way our season has gone.. Current Emotions... Just don't honestly care.., Don't feel anything... Seems nothing good is happening beyond transfers.
