Oh I agree with that, but there's lads that haven't missed a game most of the season. Never mind, plenty in reserve for us.
Today wasn't his kind of game either, where as Saturday, we could do with him and his tidy passing and low key creativity.
Sure I saw a stat that says only Burnley have scored more 2nd half goals than us. Shows we have the depth, that TM makes the right subs and that we have plenty of energy in the team
Just think aswell with a bit of luck and I'm not taking about key players not getting injured but a couple of results going our way when they should have done if it hadn't been for refereeing mistakes Blakcburn the main one and we would be pushing the top two. Stewart staying fit and we would probably be in the top two! Reckon we would have beat Boro if Stewart didn't go off, could see seen it knocked us and gave them a boost. This team is well beyond where most of us expected this season. Class man! What a professional club we now are!
We probably score more goals in the last 15 minutes than the first 45. The constant movement of our front 4, pulling opposition out of place eventually tires them out and we're ruthless once they've shown weakness.
I was wondering if that was when they mentioned him being about 4 inches taller than he actually is. I know he saved the penalty cause he seems to be very good at them! Saved two this season iirc?
Big shout out to this lad. Improving every week and done class tonight. He didn't even give a ****e when Martin tried to elbow him as he ran past him to launch the ball up field.
I'm with Tony I genuinely expect him to keep them out. Could well be a future penalty shootout hero for us, cool as a cucumber under pressure too.
