Appears to be another horrible embarrassing home result, so much for Fortress Loftus Road, another two late goals and a penalty miss! Pretty sad post game wake tonight at the Coningham Arms for any Irish R's present. I well remember our celebrations Nov 23rd 2013 after we beat Charlton, 1-0 with a wonder Charlie Austin goal. Maybe we should have picked him up after returning from Oz, rather than being put out to pasture at his former club, Swindon Town.
FFS You can’t win with only two or three players making an effort. Don’t think it will make any difference for our fourth manager of the year. Players should be paid small flat fee and then on results. Shake the buggers up a bit.
Obviously nothing to do with Teflon coated SLF even though his fingerprints are all over the team and manager.
Thought first half was abysmal, ffs where was the effort in 2nd half, feel sorry for Dunne as he tried, Tim was **** & should’ve been taken off at h/t, what the **** is going on there, total clear out needed, I’ve never felt so disinterested as have have now with my team watching this week in week out
Same here Jeff and that's the most dissapointing thing of it all, the losing interest. My lad doesn't even watch nowadays, it's a shame but I can't blame him, we are crap.
Well at least Burnley just kept an unbeaten home record alive, salvaging a late equalizer against Watford, for their new manager Vincent Kompany (after Sean Dyche). At least his players came through for him, a no-nonsense solid defender who wouldn't put up with the crap our players appear to be exhibiting these days, who don't look like they are prepared to play their hearts out for Critchley. Watched 2nd half of this game on ESPN, dared not even look at our game for fear of jinxing the result, so much for that idea. Glad I didn't have to witness another St. Valentine's Massacre on ESPN, after the horrible Fleetwood cup match they streamed. Now the 2-2 comeback against Reading was a real eye opener with Jamal Lowe almost scoring the winner.
Another frustrating result. I think the missed penalty is indicative of our current performance. “Couldn’t organise a pi** up in a brewery” comes to mind. It is quite painful to watch this on a stream and I really feel for those who travel home and away to watch and suffer. Guess after following the R’s for almost 50 years I should have got used to it! Wish you a pleasant evening. A small drop if alcohol pacifies and numbs the the emotions.
I decided not to schlep across town to go to the game today. I said some weeks ago that we were in a relegation battle. I’m preparing myself for 1st Div football next season. I cannot see us staying up. I don’t think whether NC stays or goes will make the slightest difference.
Well I can't see them sacking him as that's just an admission of failure on Les and co's part. They have taken us backwards massively. Critchley is a children's coach, his tactics naive and amateurish, Les and the owners are relying on producing a young talent to sell on for profit, but we don't have any and when we do they get snapped up for 25k before they reach the 1st team. The whole club is a shambles, add some really poor players into the equation and the future really does look bleak.
I couldn’t make Sat so last 2 games I’ve seen us live have been 0-3 defeats Hull (A) & tonight. Completes the HT after Luton (H). The last 2 have been among the worst, most clueless performances I’ve seen in the 43 years I’ve been going. Absolutely shocking. Sunderland (& even Hull) had more of a structure and plan than we did from the 1st min. The bloke next to me said “shell-shocked” and that was at 0-0. For some reason NC thinks Andre Dozell is Andrea Pirlo but passing backwards to Dickie, Dunne and Dieng is not clever or productive. As someone mentioned earlier why was Field on the right wing?? Finally, why insert an immobile 34yo lump up front and then play with no width ABSOLUTELY. F******. CLUELESS
Sound, he should stay then and we should be thankful we were top for a couple of days. This is just a minor blip
Feck me! That’s a disgrace. Sorry but it’s time for the manager to step down. Nothing more to say on the subject.
