What I really wanted today was some news about Nicola Bulley. Even bad news if that's what it has to be so the family KNOW what has happened to their Mum. Her children, her partner, her sister parents and friends. They must be going through hell. All I can do is hope for the best obviously, but I fear the worst. Something very odd about the sad situation

Sad times as my cat Big Steve (my profile pic) has gone missing. He's on twice daily medication for his heart condition so he's not had any of that for nearly a week...what point should I start mourning the poor bugger if I never find him? Difficult decision.
Sometimes cats just seem to know when their time has come. I had one years ago who did the disappearing thing, right after he found his way into our bed one summer night when the window was open, something he had never done before. We never saw him again after that. He’d had a run in with a car a few months before which had left him partially sighted and probably in pain, so maybe he knew it was time to go, we’ll never know. If Big Steve has gone for good, you’ll have a lifetime of happy memories of him to help you through the adjustment to his absence. Hopefully he hasn’t, and he’ll turn up demanding attention very soon.
