Absolutely superb and seems a really pleasant lad too. Hoping for great things. "What are you going to do about Top 4?". "Win every game". Priceless Much, much better and desperately needed. Fabinho was dog ****, on the only real downside..
and matip. he got away with several errors as the kid he as up against hadn't a clue. We need to go gomez/vvd next weekend and hope gomez doesn't do as bad. (also full of basci errors)
Press are picking on Jordan Picford for Salah's goal.I hope they are not suggesting that he should have committed another stupid foul on our player?.In the premier Lesgue things happen too fast there is little time to think. Please stop blaming Jordan Picford.
oh... it was Coleman's fault for not going through nunez and breaking his leg according to Osman last night. Pickshite was abysmal though
both goals should have been stopped by tackles according to him though tbf he was talking about Rugby tackles .
Semi happy with the midfield last night - Bajetic was the standout and continues to impress. Off the ball, Hendo had that snap to him - closing down quickly and pressing well. Fab however ... my word, he is so slow now. I love him and defended him for a while but he really is a shadow of what he once was. He did improve as the game wore on but it's a big concern now.
Several times I heard him openly endorsing routine fouling in the build-up to goals. Well, we all know they do it - but for a co-commentator to openly call for it is just another area where pro footballers have a detrimental influence on kids watching. "Well kids, if he's going past you just bring him down". I don't understand why people don't take this sort of stuff seriously.
I think he was too! He wanted basically to yellow cards for coleman. Go hack through nunez in our box and then drag down robertson before he passed out to trent. very odd thought process. It wasn't cut out the ball or make a tackle, he was most specific that he should have cleared both players out. #evertonmentality.
Also, Tarkowski should have had a card for kicking Hendo. Not a mistimed tackle, not a carrying-through due to momentum, but a deliberate kick well after the ball had gone.
It was extremely clear. Quite deliberate and he was also very careful to keep his studs down so the ref left him off. Terrible reffing. Henderson then went in on pickshite and pushed him over after he kicked a clearance out of play. then onana took it on himself to slide into alisson. The ref ended up waving 2 yellows all game for blatent drag backs but missed out on controlling the game He was lucky it didn't actually kick off at any point as Everton were that weak. He enabled 3 further fouls by tarkowski as well by not booking him.
xAG - Expected Assists xG - Expected Goals npxG - non penalty Expected Goals In summary - Darwin is getting a lot of chances but also creating as well.
He's close. His style just needs to evolve slightly and he could be the fittest player for our attack. If we signed Wallace to assist him he'd be a gemmule in the rough.
