Probably top half or so !

Think Mark Robins has been at Coventry for 6 years with everyone else a year or less .

On the way here, I said to the boys, "I only realised this morning, fellas, that when Grandad first came to Vicarage Road, Adolf Hitler was in power." :emoticon-0147-emo:
Seb: "Blimey, and I thought we had seen some dodgy managers!"

    Bloody smartarse kids.

The club seem to have forgotten that the U21s are playing at Millwall today. No mention on social media nor on the club website.

Millwall leading 1-0 after a 32nd minute goal.

Edit: we've just equalised in the 36th minute - have no idea who scored it though...

    Final score 1-1.

    Still don't know who scored...

Don't know - I can't find a team sheet. There's no line up given in Flashscore, and they give the name of Millwall's scorer but not ours.

Looks like it was a decent bit of business - especially when you add in the rumoured £300K for Porteous. A new central defence pairing for around £1million.

Just found out it was Ezio Tourey, the guy we signed from Basingstoke recently.

There is an interesting debate going on about one of our loanees that goes like this.

Watford face a decision this summer on whether to sign Hamza Choudhury on a permanent deal.
As per Adam Leventhal of the Athletic, the club possess an option to buy for a fee in the region of £6m and the Hornets will need to make the call on whether to secure a permanent move for the Leicester City midfielder.

His performance against Burnley was outstanding in my book, but it was probably the very best of him to date. Some influenced by that display are saying, sign him up quickly. Others think he is good, but £6 M is too much.

    What do people here think?

If he can raise his performances consistently then he is a good addition to our squad and £6m is not overpriced in the current Championship, but would be an absolute bargain if he could do it in the Prem (fingers, toes and everything else crossed)

Depends on if we keep Slav and he thinks he can provide the qualities we need

Cleverley and Gosling are nearing the end of their careers and Bacuna was a makeweight in an emergency

All of those 3 are out of contract in the summer so will need midfielders and HC would be a good option but maybe not for 6 million if we don’t go up.

Might have to do some negotiations!

Chaudhury is good at what he does but he is limited.
If we stay in the Championship he would be very useful. If we get promoted, maybe as a squad player but really you need a player that not only does what he does but also progress the play. It's 50/50 as to whether we sign him or not, I think we need better if I'm honest, I mean, you can see why Leicester don't want him.

Cleverley out for eight weeks with thigh injury. Sema and Louza both came through Tuesday well. Slav says both in contention to start on Monday.

He is either our top earner, or second highest. If we don’t get Premiership football, then I think he is likely to be too expensive for us. I like him very much, but he is too expensive in wages for a Championship club.

He would be earning a lot at Leicester so agree would have to take a wage cut as suspect we will be cutting costs if promotion doesn’t happen.
