It's a hull of a long time since we won at home, so let's hope this is the start of a real turnaround. They have gone from a team which shipped goals for fun to one of the tightest defences in the league over the last ten games. The atmosphere will be tense. Let's hope for a Coventry-style start, but without the near-capitulation that followed in the first half of that game.
Live on Sky red button, so should be plenty of good streams https://yeahscore.com/match/norwich-city-vs-hull-city-18544722?t=head-to-head, this is good if you can rotate your screen from portrait to landscape, as the "sign up" info screen disappears. I do this on my tablet, and then wirelessly cast it to my TV. Works brilliant every time, with no screen locks and usually English commentary
DW: "Christos (Tzolis) is back for tomorrow, Marquinhos looks like he won't be. No other injuries from the weekend."
Wagner identifies what needs to change: “The last five games have shown that we get too affected by either scoring a goal or conceding a goal. The range in between our performance is too big,” he said. “We have to be stronger, because conceding or scoring is part of the game. Our performance shouldn't get influenced from scoring or conceding. You are not a better player, or a less good player - because you score or concede a goal. This is where we have to work on it." He admits that 5 weeks isn't enough time to establish his 'full throttle football' (especially after the turgidity of Smith's reign), but says the players are responding and it's now down to developing the mental toughness to make it happen. That's what I hope to see tonight. https://www.pinkun.com/news/23318807.norwich-city-v-hull-city-david-wagner-championship-preview/
Bold move. Sorensen must be wondering what he needs to do to get a game, 3 different managers clearly don't rate him
Pukki doesn't look like he wants to extend his contract in the summer Idah just signed a 5 year deal so I can see the logic in starting him , I think he's only started 10 games since breaking through 3 years ago
McCallum must be injured to not be starting let alone not make the bench, he’s been our best left back this year
I wonder if it will be 4-2-3-1 with Sarge up front, with Idah and Hernandez on either side of him. Dowell at number 10
Perhaps this is less to do with Pukki than it is with Sargent. It's looked clear all season that the only position he can play is centre forward, so either we drop him or we put him there. I would have liked to see what Pukki can do as a number ten, though. I personally think he has both the vision and the ball control.
