Most seem to hate him, I don't know why, he had an interview here a few years back, just didn't get the job. His eye condition is down to a muscle problem, he needs an operation to correct it, and he went up to 3rd floor directors box to see his wife.
He comes across as someone who expects respect but doesn't give it .... ...he's humourless and arrogant in interviews just like Nigel Pearson. He'll never manage a top team and won't take Reading up. The Reading supporters I spoke to yesterday don't like him and think he'll be sacked in the summer. "Paul Ince accuses Man United and Erik ten Hag's staff of 'a lack of RESPECT' for failing to invite him for a drink after his Reading side were beaten on his return to his old club in the FA Cup."
I don't hate him, he was a very good player and one of the few English players who had the balls to test himself abroad when he went to Inter. However, I think he is a **** manager and doesn't sound very confident of what he is saying in front of a camera being interviewed or when he is on Sky/TV punditry. That surprises me given his reputation when he was a player.
Yes I know, doesn't alter my opinion.of him in any way. As I've said he'll never manage a top club because he's not good enough.
I dont hate him. Loved him as a player. A real driving force. Probably short as a manager but I do think he is a fella who does what he thinks is right and sod everybody else. I dont have much of a problem with that personally.
Some radio interviewer was asking him about time wasting after the Sunderland game... he wasn't too happy.
Played ****e boring football then went on like a dick to Jeff Brown who being a mlf is generally well liked amongst our support. But if he had an interview here all is forgiven!
