Honestly, how the absolute f@ck did someone think he was once worth £35 million? It's worse when you remember it was 12 years ago, it would probably be the equivalent of £70 million plus these days. I know he's 34 now, but Christ almighty, seriously his best days are at least 10 years behind him. If a club is that desperate for a striker that they sign him, you know they're screwed

Yeah I liked how he didn't just call him out for it but he didn't let it go either. Most journalists phrase any difficult questions in the most inoffensive watered down way possible and drop it as soon as they can, but that's not how Jeff operates.

Been a bit of a day, watched Morecambe this afternoon in a turgidly awful league 1 match, lost my internet connection to my phone so had no idea how the lads were getting on until I got back to the car and the signal returned, so happy to see we won.
Went straight out to a family birthday meal and not long been home catching up on here, seems the match wasn't much better than the game I endured but, and it's a big but, WE got the points, and these could turn out to be 3 very big points.
Listened to TMs interview, just love him, in a manly way and settling down to a couple of beers cos I think I've earned them, happy as duck as these young lads never stop trying, and that's as important as picking up these precious points.
The futures bright lads, the future is red and white. OaU.

I know I've made comments in the past not being entirely convinced about Pattoi but thought he was great today. Didn't have much to do but when he did he did it really well. Very confident coming for the ball. Liked what I saw.
