It’s better for my mind if I accept it now Saves a loooong and painful remainder of the season. If we do stay up I’ll take it as a bonus. I have to be honest I just don’t see it, we will likely need to win about 1 in 2 with the whole big 6 and Newcastle to come. If the fixtures were in our favour then maybe but Jones has spunked the ‘winnable’ fixtures up the wall.
Hence my letter already sent to the Club that the time has come for him to be replaced. I have tried to be supportive, given the dire situation we were already in, and I'm usually against revolving door manager replacements, but on a simple performance requirement this appointment has failed.
Yeah zero chance we survive now, looking forward to the championship as the premier league is pointless, just need to get the next few months out the way first
Nathan Jones says the last 7 results LLWLLLL have not been good enough. He wants to finish the season with – LLWDWWDDLLWWDWLL - Which, by sheer coincidence is also the name of the village where Gareth Bale's dad was born.
I would have even have understood if NJ didn’t want to do a post match today but he just can’t help himself
I don't even care any more now, and that is very sad. Whether he gets sacked tonight, next week, next month; I no longer care. Jones and SR have completely wasted these past three months (in fact, in SR's case, you could argue that they've wasted these past nine months - Ralph should have gone back in May). And we're getting relegated as a result. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I really think that's us down now. Brentford last week was an open goal to sack him. We missed it. Wolves at home to today, a goal up and a man up, was an open goal to pick up three points. We missed it.
Sulemana, if I am correct, is right footed? Seemed to spend most of the game cutting in on to his left foot whereas I would prefer him to be cutting in onto his right foot. Looks like a star in the making. Will be sad if we only have him until the end of the season, but at least SR should make a profit.
I don’t think he goes this week either, if they really were unsure about him they would’ve sacked him after last week. Now we’ve lost this week relegation is very likely I think they’ll just let him ride it out for a while then look for a new manager in the summer when it should be easier to find somebody
That's insanity when you have this much money invested. Even if you think we have no hope, sack him and let Selles manage. Sack him and hold a fan raffle for a manager. Sack him and let the players form a Soviet and vote democratically on every decision. But sack him at the very least.
His post match interview on the BBC is unbelievable. He is genuinely delusional. I can’t believe what I am hearing
