I've been thinking about the shape NJ might play on the weekend, What this new Jones ball might look like. I think a 3 4 3 is what we might line up with... I wouldn't be opposed if it looked like this. Bazunu; ABk, DCC, Salisu; KWP, Lavia, JWP, Perraud; Edozie, Onuachu, Sulemana. I must add, if KWP isn't available I'd rather we played a back 4 as I'm not fully taken in with Bree in a wing back slot.. But who knows.
I think that it offers us a really good counter attacking side with plenty of pace on the wings, And as goodas JWP is in that 10 role recently I just don't think currently we can take him out of midfield with his engine. I would add, I wouldn't be surprised to see Arma start either though. Playing closer to Onuachu hitting those knock downs but also a good outlet out wide too coming inside.
It'll be fascinating if the journalists try and wind him up a bit. If they can get a rise out of him, it's better copy/more engagement for their publications. I expect they'll try, and he's brought that on himself.
It was pretty clear during the forum that the board were not happy with Jones post match comments. I think Semmens said everyone in the room was annoyed and that they were stupid comments to make - which is pretty big criticism of an existing manager. Particularly one not even in the room. I can only image he was spoken to about it and told to fix up his media work. I expect a subdued presser, although I do wonder if he is capable of that.
I sure one of the board will be there to interrupt and answer for him …….if not the Welsh windbag (sorry best manager in Europe) will bite.
Did nobody else think Carrillo mk2 with onuachu debut? Hope it’s not the case but did look a bit out of place. Unintentional rhyme
I wasn't able to watch but you cant tell a thing from a 45 minute appearance, after only flying on the day before, during a game in which you are already 2 nil down.
Never watched a press conference before but might give this a go. Are they normally shown live on the OS or somewhere else?
Yeah true. But being in the right place and having some movement should be instinctive. We shall see I guess. I would start adams though is my point, as much as I don’t rate him. New guy seems off it, hope he can get on it at some point!
Its tough. With Adams/Arma we know they arent good enough, the new lads are a throw of the dice but what choice have we got? Obviously Jones will have seen if they are sharp in training but Id start them both as it is our only hope!
