Isn't this guy the villain in EVERY FILM EVER? It reminds me of the sketch in Mitchell and Webb where the nazis notice they have skulls on their helmets and ask "are we the bad guys?"
How/why did this take so long. Whichever way this goes, will be questions to be asked. Club did right thing from start, he was out.
I was skimming over the BBC match stats and had to do a double take of this: Then realised it was the Leeds bench. Phew.
I feel like if you guys can get yourselves into the top 4 then there's no way you'll blow it from there.
The league is over. Arsenal have won it. City too distracted by off the field stuff and Utd still miles off a title challenge this season
Not a great result for us last night. Showing new manager bounce/fight from leeds. Those relegation threatened sides do put up a fight. But survival for us will be all about being better against the sides around us rather than beating the top 6-5 teams.
Only had to watch what Leeds did against Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs (even though they lost) to realise that they play better against teams that want to play against them. It's the rest that they struggle with.
I cant see Arsenal throwing it away now. City are not looking up for it this season, oddly. United are far too inconsistent for a title push and Newcastle draw too many games.
As long as you agree that Liverpools last title comes with a "whole world was locked up in their homes due to a unspecified illness of unknown origin" asterisk.
