Technically 4, if you count 2011-12 (Spurs would have finished 3rd and thus escaped the Chelsky CL nightmare) .
And Gareth Bale would have stayed so technically we won the CL in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2022. Happy days.
Modric too - plus we would've signed Eden Hazard, while Newcastle would feel aggrieved at finishing fourth but missing out on the CL
On a sidenote, seeing Ryan Mason stood next to Stellini bellowing instructions from the touchline is the sort of thing which gets the football romantic wistfully believing that maybe one day the kid who came through our academy can be the man to lead us to glory
Anyone thinking Citeh may not be guilty should be aware that they have employed the fragrant Lord Pannick KC to defend them You'd think he already had enough on his plate defending the Blond Thundercunt Johnson...
Well those wanting Lloris to be dropped will kind of have their wish… He’s out for 6-8 weeks due to a late challenge in the game, has ligament damage. Gonna need to hope Forster can do a Gazzaniga. Just what we needed after a couple of competent team performances.
knowing our medical team, and the fact we need to start thinking about a successor, we’ve probably therefore seen the last of him in a spurs shirt!!
Want him dropped , but not necessarily replaced with Forster. Late challenge? He seemed fine jumping on Kane after the interview. Maybe that's when he damaged it?
I haven't been at all impressed by Forster in the few games he's played. Seems to make even basic saves look like worldies and for a huge bloke doesn't look all that confident commanding the box in the air.
The odds are we can't get an emergency loan because we have three first team keepers available in Forster, Austin and Whiteman, all of whom have first team football on their CV (and, crucially, Wikipedia pages) Of course, that didn't stop The Sheikh Mansour Team getting an emergency loan when they still had one of their three first team keepers available...
Hard to judge him on his limited minutes, though. I'd happily keep him next season, but I'd prefer it to be as our third choice. I've not been massively impressed by any of the names we've been linked with, either. Lloris may have made mistakes recently, but he'll be a hard act to follow. We've generally been blessed with top keepers as far back as I can remember, though. Barring Ian ****ing Walker, of course.
Meh former Spurs GK + unapproved hairdos. Apart from finding a pic of him on official club business wearing ripped jeans. IMHO one could not engineer a more triggering player for you than Ian Walker.
I personally never really rated Neil Sullivan if I'm honest, although that may be more due to the entire team being utterly crap at the time. Also Gomes deteriorated into a total clown by the end of it.
Brad and Carlo were both excellent backups as I recall. But back on the subject of City ..did you see their new badge?
