Steve Bruce now one of the favourites. Will do a temporary stop gap job till end of season and we can then line up a permanent manager
When ER goes up in flames, it will be me that's done it, if that's true

There seems to be a general assumption that Bambam threw Marsch under a bus, but has anyone considered that Bambam was simply commenting on a part of the game plan that was not being followed by the players - i.e. he was in agreement with Marsch?TBH, if Bamford was criticising Marsch (and you can read that interview a few ways) he was opening himself up for a critic to have a pop at him. The manager rarely criticises specific players, and in return the players don't criticise the manager. Otherwise its a slippery slope.
No, I don’t think that’s what he meant but if it was that’s even worse if most are not following the coach’s plan. Either way it explains why he was toast the next day. There seems to be a general assumption that Bambam threw Marsch under a bus, but has anyone considered that Bambam was simply commenting on a part of the game plan that was not being followed by the players - i.e. he was in agreement with Marsch?
Nobody knows what goes on the dressing room but Klich was up to his usual shythousery by tweeting “what a day” well known he had no time for Marsch, but unusually quiet from the players not wishing Marsch well. There seems to be a general assumption that Bambam threw Marsch under a bus, but has anyone considered that Bambam was simply commenting on a part of the game plan that was not being followed by the players - i.e. he was in agreement with Marsch?
Arne Slot seems the main man coming forward now. Bookies have slashed him up.
OK...Arne Slot. Sounds the favourite tonight.
The link is to an article with a little insight in how he plays...

To sum up he likes 4-2-3-1 with a high press. He likes his wingers to play more centrally which allow the full backs to provide the width. The central midfield comprises of a defensive double pivot with the other allowed a little more freedom. That floods the central section of the pitch where the players form little diamond shapes (almost like a net) which gives lots of options for vertical passes in the centre of the field.
Interesting stuff.![]()
If he is the man He can play any ball he likes as long as he gets results lol. Think there maybe a few more twists and turns yet on the new appointment. Just gonna sit back and let it unfold. end of the day we can't do anything whoever it is.He plays Marschball
That is what i have just read.. Narrow wingers with full backs pushing up and a two man pivot. Which if passes go astray gives us the same problems. He plays Marschball
He should just Slot straight in then.Meet the new boss same as the old boss.
