Their top scorer is Zian Flemming, with 10 goals, followed by Tom Bradshaw with 7. They've actually only scored 2 more than us this season (34), but they've conceded 28, so 10 less than us. Their manager, Gary Rowett, joined them in October 2019, having had a nine month break after leaving Stoke by mutual consent in January 2019. He's previously managed Burton, Birmingham and Derby County...most impressively, after taking over in October 2014, guiding Birmingham from a potential relegation battle to a 10th place finish. As for us, we signed a striker!!!! A little on the old side, at 45, Chris Martin has shown he is able to perform under pressure, having played in front of record breaking crowds in Mexico City. Might have the wrong man here . Yep...the Chris Martin we've signed, 34, had his most successful season, scoring 25 goals, for Derby County in the 2013/14 season. In the most recent season, he scored 12 goals in 45 games for Bristol City. Better than nothing, and here's hoping he offers added support to those we already have, and so we can start seeing the best of Willock/Dykes/Roberts/Lowe and all. I wasn't able to watch the Huddersfield game, but from the brief highlights I have watched, it didn't look like great entertainment. Hopefully the home support will give the players a lift, and the passion of a London derby will inspire them to up their game. Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, those who'll be at HQ, enjoy, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Bless you all for turning up yet again to watch our Mighty Hoops. I actually think we will get a well deserved point in this game against the massive lions.
Yes, I'm looking forward to the longer travel times getting home and bigger police presence as the mental health issues of the Millwall travelling supporters are catered for at our expense.
Dave once agsin thanks for this. Often the highlight of the sporting week is trying to remember players who have played for both teams - for me this is the Danny ****tu Derby! Anyway my question is .... Are there any teams we've beaten more than we've lost to? Every week I look at the opposition and think "We must have done these lot loads of time, we used to be good" and alas, as ever, it reads Won 3, Draw 6, Lost 458.
Seem to be quite a few tickets available at the moment. Says on the website you can buy at the box office from 10:00 am on match day. Do you still have membership? If yes reckon you’ll be able to buy something on the morning of the game online. If not but if you can make your mind up on Friday I’m happy to get you a ticket, commission a pre match pint. I’ll be on the train on Saturday morning with dodgy connection, couldn’t guarantee I can buy.
If my lad can’t make it I might take you up on that one......will hopefully know by Thursday. Cheers G
One from the past, I remember this well and the massive police presence all around the Bush. Cool Clive with the killer blow...
Tyler Richards out with another injury problem. Are we absolutely committed to signing this guy at the end of the season?
Anyone else have a good feeling about this one? Based on precisely **** all. Luck's got to change at some point hasn't it?
