I do, however, think we were playing good-looking, passing football towards 'the end', but we weren't scoring enough.

I posted saying that he always portrayed himself as Mr Integrity, as someone on here said "a straight guy"

Well that myth has been well and truly exploded. His weasily answeres on Saturday were pathetic. I fully agree that he has got us in a good position but that shouldn't hide the fact that at the first opportunity he has dumped us.

A greedy two faced twat is what he is as well as a great disappointmet to the kids that go to the game every two weeks....delighted he's gone.

Yeah, I mean fancy taking us on a 9 game unbeaten run, taking us on the 17 game unbeaten away run last year, making us hard to beat and transforming an underperforming squad of overpaid players to a squad of players who have given us a fighting chance of getting a top 6 place. Christ he's being useless! If that's taking us back from the absolute shambles we were in after premier league relegation then you are ****ing deluded and letting your hatred get in the way of obvious facts. This club was heading on a downward spiral after terrible financial mismanagement and NP has being instrumental in restoring pride back into this club and getting us back on our feet again. You cannot knock the position we are in, we are in no way struggling at the bottom and are just a couple of players short of a very good team. If NP is going then so be it (i won't be nostalgically looking back at him like you with Brownie), no point crying over spilt milk and as with Bullard no one person is bigger than the team and we all (including you) have to get behind the new boss. Regardless of how he is as a person (I admit he is cold and off hand) you cannot knock his record here over the last 12 months, get over your petty hatred and see the facts for what they are.

Pearson has disappointed me with his disloyalty. Won't knock the job he has done but it is a shame he will be leaving under a cloud. But life moves on, let's give the new boss all the support to continuing the good work with the current squad. UTT.

Manuel, mate - you're overlooking the fact that the new manager will be found/appointed by AP so, regardless of who it is, the poor soul will have earned the enmity and loathing of our 'Deluded One' - Percy/WTF!

I dont get why anyone would defend him, he did a great job while he was here but if he's not interested in staying and finishing the job then good riddance.

I do not disagree that he has that he has rekindled us, and i admit i was on the Mails comments the other day saying my gut feeling that we will do well with him, and thought he was a honest person. You hear stories that he is a different person away from the media ie respected by the players etc and loyal to them.
Just wishes he at least makes some statement why he left and be honest with us, give us some respect.
So time to move on but i wont be shedding any tears if Leicester sack him.He will be made for life anyway.
December 3 rd will be interesting, just hope we stuff them it will be even better i reckon than when Bullard returns, that if he is selected.!
Now lets get get behind the new manager no matter who as these next few weeks are more vital than any other time, we have to keep the talent and the momentum.I have followed City since the 60s and have seen countless false dawns but i still feel we are on the verge of something good.
And please Mr Allam let us hear your plans soon Eat them alive Tigers.

Agreed, don't know how people can say we played boring football. Even last year when we were ineffective we always kept in on the floor and played nice stuff, it just didn't work.

There's no doubting he was great for us, if he wasn't then I wouldn't give a **** that he wants to jump ship.

Incedently, I was so pleased with the way we were going I'd have him back if he changed his mind, who else would?

You have to accept that Nigel has been a success for the Club over his short stay with us.
I was worried for the Club at the time he came in.
Players did not want to be at City, confidence was low, no great funds to re-build a promotion team.... yet he did turn it around & we are in a lot better place with the players we now have at the Club.... ready to move on further over the next year as real promotion contenders.
I was confident the 'missing goals' we need would come in January onwards..
Unfortunately his charisma & media shortfalls have stopped him from being 'loved' by the City faithful...
But looks like we have to move on..... UTT

The football we've played recently is streets ahead of the crap we saw against Sheff United, Scunny, Millwall, Watford and Coventry last season. The end product is missing, but I left the ground on Saturday feeling like i'd being entertained. The fact most of us are disappointed to see him go speaks volumes for the job he did here, in an ideal world we'd have him back but I think he's burnt too many bridges to come back now. I thank the bloke for his efforts in restoring some pride back into the club and buying players who care and want to do well for the club but if he doesn't want to be here then there's no point him been with us.
